Zoe Kravitz and Orpheus: The Snake Incident That Toppled Taylor Swift's Lavish LA Bathroom
ZOE KRAVITZ Spills the Tea on Her Wild Adventure with Taylor Swift Amidst Los Angeles Wildfires
In a shocking revelation that's got everyone talking, actress Zoe Kravitz spilled the beans about her crazy adventure with none other than pop sensation Taylor Swift amidst the devastating Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year. And let us tell you, it's a tale of snake-filled chaos and bathroom destruction!
Appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers alongside her mom Lisa Bonet, 36-year-old Zoe shared the hilarious story of how they found themselves seeking refuge in Taylor's $25 million Beverly Hills mansion - a historic abode from the '30s that's been lovingly preserved by the Grammy-winning singer. But little did they know, their stay would be filled with more excitement than a Swiftie concert!
"We ended up having to stay there for about two weeks," Zoe revealed, while her mom Lisa Bonet's pet snake Orpheus slithered quietly in the background. "And Taylor has this beautiful house. It's from the '30s, something you want to preserve and take care of." But it seems their good intentions were put to the test when disaster struck - literally!
As Zoe began cleaning up the house before leaving, she received a call from her mom Lisa, who was frantically calling for help. "I got into a pickle," Lisa confessed to Zoe, who rushed upstairs to find her mom crouched in the corner of the bathroom with Orpheus stuck in a tiny hole.
"I'm like, 'What's going on, dude?'" Zoe recalled, chuckling at the memory. But what ensued was a hilarious and harrowing tale of snake rescue - and destruction! "And she's like, 'So I was washing my face and I had Orpheus and I just put her down for a second. Closed the door and she found this little hole in the corner.'"
As Zoe described, the situation quickly escalated into chaos mode: "We're ripping up the tile. We're scratching the walls. I mean it's just like... 'Either we destroy Taylor's bathroom or I have to tell her that there's a snake somewhere in her house.'" And that's exactly what happened - they had to tear apart the banquette built into the wall to rescue Orpheus!
Zoe candidly admitted, "We completely destroyed Taylor's bathroom and there was just this moment where I was like, 'Either we destroy her bathroom or I have to tell her that there's a snake somewhere in her house.'" But what's even more shocking is that when Zoe called Taylor to confess the mess they'd made, the singer already knew about it!
"I remember calling her saying, 'Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something,'" Zoe laughed. "'And she was like, "Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?'" And what's even more hilarious is that Taylor playfully joked that her next album should be called Orpheus!
But amidst all the laughter and joking around, it's clear that Zoe and Taylor have developed an unbreakable friendship over the years. They've been spotted together on numerous occasions, from grabbing dinner in NYC to cheering each other on at music festivals.
In fact, Zoe even had the chance to collaborate with Taylor on her 2022 album Midnights - writing tracks like Karma and Lavender Haze, while also lending her vocals to the latter. And Taylor has been nothing but supportive of Zoe's directorial debut for the 2024 movie Blink Twice, calling it "incredible" and expressing her admiration for Zoe's talent.
But what's even more intriguing is that Zoe is keeping busy with her own projects - preparing for the release of her latest film Caught Stealing later this month. The comedy-crime thriller also stars Austin Butler, Matt Smith, Bad Bunny, Regina King, Liev Schreiber, and Vincent D'Onofrio.
And if you thought that was all the excitement for today, Taylor Swift fans are in for a treat - the singer announced her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast this week! Stay tuned for more updates on this juicy news!
