Zendaya's Timeless Takedown: A Decade Later, Her Response to Cyberbullies Still Inspires

Zendaya's takedown of cyber bullies targeting her parents has resurfaced one decade later

EXCLUSIVE: Zendaya's Savage Takedown of Cyber Bullies Resurfaces 10 Years Later - And It's Just as Iconic as Ever!

In a shocking turn of events, a decade-old Twitter takedown by none other than queen bee Zendaya has resurfaced, and it's still giving us LIFE! Back in 2015, the now-28-year-old "Euphoria" star was just 18 when she responded to a barrage of cruel comments from keyboard warriors who dared to target her parents.

As the cyber bullies unleashed their venomous attacks on Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu, Zendaya fought back with a powerful message that would leave even the most seasoned troll in awe. With a calm and collected tone, she posted a note that would go down in internet history as one of the most epic clapbacks ever:

"While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people's parents on Twitter but instead became educators who have dedicated their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow minds."

Zendaya didn't stop there! She continued her takedown by urging the trolls to "please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook and while you're at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you."

The Scholary Note can exclusively reveal that Zendaya's parents, Claire and Kazembe, were high school sweethearts who divorced when she was just a child. However, despite their split, they remain on good terms and have been spotted together at various events.

Fast forward to the present, and it's clear that Zendaya has grown into her own person - a confident, outspoken, and unapologetic trailblazer who refuses to let anyone bring her down. In a candid interview with The Scholary Note last April, she opened up about her complicated feelings about growing up in the public eye.

"As I got older, I started to realize that being a child actor wasn't all sunshine and rainbows," she revealed. "I was thrust into a very adult position at a young age, and it took a toll on my mental health. There were times when I felt like I was living someone else's dream instead of my own."

But Zendaya has since found her footing as an adult. She's been open about her struggles with anxiety and has used her platform to speak out against the pressures faced by young people in the entertainment industry.

When asked about her career goals growing up, she admitted that it's a question that still makes her chuckle today. "I don't know how much of a choice I had," she confessed. "I've only ever done what I've known, and this [acting] is all I've known. I'm almost going through my angsty teenager phase now because I didn't really have the time to do it before."

As she looks back on her adolescence, Zendaya said that she felt like she was forced into a very adult role at a young age. "I was becoming the breadwinner of my family very early," she recalled. "There was a lot of role-reversal happening, and just kind of becoming grown, really."

But despite the challenges she faced, Zendaya is determined to use her platform to make a positive impact. She's been vocal about the importance of self-care, mental health awareness, and empowering young people to be their authentic selves.

And as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her iconic takedown, it's clear that Zendaya has only continued to grow into an even more confident, compassionate, and unapologetic superstar.
