ROCK 'N' ROLL REBELLION: Yungblud Slams Critics, Claims He's the True Spirit of Rock

In a scathing attack on critics, British rocker Yungblud has declared himself the ultimate rockstar, dismissing detractors as "bitter and jealous" who can't handle his unbridled energy. The 28-year-old singer-songwriter, whose real name is Dominic Richard Harrison, has been making waves with his outrageous antics on stage, including flashing his armpits and pulling faces during a performance at the American Music Awards (AMAs) last month.

But it's not just his eccentric behavior that's got tongues wagging - Yungblud's music has also come under fire from some quarters. Despite being hailed as one of the most "rock 'n' roll" acts in years, fans have been divided on whether he's got what it takes to be a true rock legend. While some have praised his raw energy and rebellious spirit, others have panned his music as "borderline unlistenable."

In a continuation of his wild displays, a clip of Yungblud went viral this week in which he was seen approaching a fan in the front row at his show (Seen in October)

In a recent episode of Jack Osbourne's podcast, Trying Not To Die, Yungblud lashed out at critics who questioned his tribute performance for Ozzy Osbourne, the late Black Sabbath frontman. The singer had been close to Ozzy and had performed at several events in his honor, including his farewell concert at Birmingham's Villa Park.

"I think the strangest thing about that was all I was trying to do was my best for your old man," Yungblud said, addressing Jack Osbourne directly. "Because he gave me such a gift." He continued, "When people try and intellectualise a sense of spirit and six musicians on a stage going 'f*ing love you man', it's just bitter and jealous."

Yungblud also took aim at The Darkness guitarist Dan Hawkins, who had criticized the tribute performance, saying that anyone slamming the tribute wasn't "real rock stars." He claimed that icons like Ozzy, Metallica's James Hetfield, and Slayer's Kerry King would never speak ill of his efforts.

"Your dad [Ozzy] would never do that," Yungblud said. "They don't need to. They're just like, 'You know what? That's sick.' People forget that rock is dictated by the people. The people are what make something rock and roll."

The drama unfolded after a viral clip surfaced of Yungblud kissing a fan on the cheek while shirtless and handing her his cigarette during a show. While some praised him for being "so cool," others couldn't help but comment on their disappointment with his music.

"I love everything he has going on except his dreadful music," one fan wrote. "He needs to fix this." Another fan chimed in, "I don't know who this is but it's the most rock n roll thing I've seen in 30 years."

Despite the criticism, Yungblud remains unapologetic about his approach to rock 'n' roll. He's been praised for his raw energy and rebellious spirit, and fans have been drawn to his unbridled enthusiasm.

As one fan put it, "I love this guy so much, he could easily be the biggest rockstar in the world if his music wasn't borderline unlistenable." But Yungblud isn't one to let criticism get him down. He's staying true to himself and his art, even if that means going against the grain.

In a final swipe at his detractors, Yungblud declared, "I'm not trying to be anyone else, I'm just being myself." And judging by the reaction of fans, it's clear that he's got something special - even if some people can't quite get on board with his unique brand of rock 'n' roll.

The moment caused a stir online, with people saying he was 'so cool' and could easily be one of the biggest rockstars in the world

While shirtless, the star was seen taking a drag of his cigarette

Yungblud, 28, had a very strong relationship with Ozzy after meeting him in 2022, and it appeared that their relationship grew into an almost father-son type bond
