You Won't Believe: Celebrity Age Reveal - From Tom Selleck to Sean Connery!

THE AGE-DEFYING STARS OF HOLLYWOOD: BEFORE AND AFTER

The age-old question: can we really believe what we see on screen? Do our favorite stars truly look as young and vibrant as they do in their movies, or are they hiding secrets behind the scenes? We're about to spill the tea on some of Hollywood's most stunning transformations.

Tom Holland vs Tom Selleck: The Fresh-Faced Duo

At 22 and 23, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo were arguably at the peak of their powers as they led Manchester United to European glory in 2008

Meet Tom Holland, the dashing British heartthrob who has stolen our hearts with his portrayal of Spider-Man. But did you know that this 29-year-old hunk is still growing up? In fact, he was recently in the running for the coveted role of James Bond - yes, you read that right! While some fans thought he was too "adorable" for the part, we're wondering if he's just too young to be the suave spy.

But Holland isn't the only one with a youthful secret. Take Tom Selleck, the iconic actor who brought us Thomas Magnum in Hawaii Five-O and Friends' Richard Burke. Before his signature mustache took center stage, Selleck looked remarkably rugged at just 29 - almost like he'd been sipping on Mai Tais for decades!

Wayne Rooney vs Cristiano Ronaldo: The Age-Defying Duo

Ronaldo netted 44 goals for Al Nassr during the 2023/24 season at the age of 38

The soccer world is abuzz with the news that former England striker Wayne Rooney has hung up his boots. But don't worry, folks - he's still got some game left in him. Compare his current look to that of his old teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who's still rocking it at 40. While Rooney's sporting a few grey hairs and looking a tad more out-of-shape, Ronaldo is still scoring goals like they're going out of style.

But what's really got fans talking is the subtle shade thrown by Ronaldo himself in a recent interview with Piers Morgan. "Rooney is jealous of me," he quipped, implying that his old teammate can't handle his continued success on and off the pitch.

The Golden Girls vs Sex and the City: Age is Just a Number

In series one of The Golden Girls, despite looking rather like pensioners, Dorothy (left) and Rose (centre top) were 55 while Blanche (right) was even younger in her early 50s

We've all heard the saying, but it's never more true than in Tinseltown. Take the ladies of The Golden Girls, who may have looked like pensioners at 55, but were actually playing characters in their prime. Fast-forward to Sex and the City's And Just Like That, where the leading ladies are once again rocking their 50s - and looking fabulous while doing it.

But what really has fans scratching their heads is the stark contrast between The Golden Girls' Dorothy (Bea Arthur) and Rose (Betty White), who were only in their mid-50s when they played characters in their late 40s. Meanwhile, the Sex and the City crew are still going strong at the same age.

Tobey Maguire vs Tommy Lee Jones: The Age-Gap Duo

And Just Like That's main characters Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) (pictured left to right) are all too in their 50s, leaving The Golden Girls fans in disbelief

It's no secret that Tobey Maguire was the original Spider-Man - but what you might not know is just how young he looked playing Peter Parker. In fact, he bagged the role at just 22 and still rocked it in his final outing as Spider-Man 3 at 27.

But compare Maguire to Men In Black star Tommy Lee Jones, who's looking decidedly more seasoned at 78. While Tobey was all fresh-faced and youthful, Jones has spent years playing characters older than himself - including Agent K in Men In Black, who was allegedly over 60!

Brad Pitt vs Christopher Lloyd: The Age-Defying Odd Couple

Tobey Maguire (pictured September 2024) turned 50 this year, but you wouldn't know it, as despite growing a hint of facial hair over the years the actor looks as healthy and young as ever

We've seen our fair share of actors getting work done - but none as striking as Brad Pitt's recent look. While he may have lost a few pounds and gained some grey hairs, the dashing actor still looks like a million bucks at 60.

But what really has fans talking is the contrast between Pitt's youthful appearance and that of Christopher Lloyd, who played Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in Back To The Future. At 46, Lloyd was already looking remarkably old for his age - but he still rocked it as the lovable scientist in the iconic trilogy.

Christie Brinkley vs Donatella Versace: Age is Just a Number (Apparently)

In his final appearance as Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3, Tobey was 27 but supporters had no qualms with him playing a character 12 years his junior thanks to his youthful-looking face

When Christie Brinkley celebrated her 70th birthday last year, we couldn't help but notice that she's still looking fabulous. While some fans may be feeling the effects of aging, this supermodel-turned-icon isn't one of them.

But take Donatella Versace, who turned 70 in May and is rumored to have had a few...ahem...' tweaks' over the years. Despite her dramatic makeovers, she still looked stunning at the 2025 Met Gala - proving that age really is just a number.

Dennis Waterman vs John Thaw: The Aging Pair

Tommy Lee Jones has regularly played characters older than himself - Agent K in Men In Black was in his 60s

Remember the classic cop duo from The Sweeney? Dennis Waterman and John Thaw starred together in the iconic series for three years, playing hard-edged detectives who chased down London's most notorious crooks. But did you know that they were both relatively young when they started filming - with Thaw just 33 and Waterman a spry 24?

Of course, as time went on, their characters looked increasingly older - but not as old as the actors themselves would eventually become. Sadly, both men have since passed away, leaving behind an enduring legacy of crime-fighting excellence.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster vs Sir Sean Connery: The Age-Defying Pair

Appearing alongside the film's star Michael J. Fox in the first Back To The Future movie in 1985, Christopher Lloyd became a fan-favourite portraying Dr. Emmett 'Doc' Brown in the forthcoming sequels (pictured in 1999 in Back To The Future IV)

We've all heard the phrase "age is just a number" - but it's never more true than when looking at these two actors. Thomas Brodie-Sangster, the talented young heartthrob who stole our hearts in Love Actually, still looks like he's 17 despite being an actual grown man.

Compare this to Sir Sean Connery, who played James Bond in his younger days and looked every bit the rugged spy we all know and love. But did you know that he was actually only a year older than Brodie-Sangster when they were both 34? Yes, it's true - and it just goes to show that some actors are truly ageless.

There you have it - the most stunning transformations in Hollywood history. From Tom Holland to Christie Brinkley, these stars prove that age is indeed just a number. Or is it?

Pictured alongside fellow A-lister Tom Cruise - rocking a longer brown haircut than usual - the pair seemed in great health with no doubt plenty more box office movies still in the tank (pictured together at the F1: The Movie premiere in London)

Age doesn't seem to be catching up to Christie Brinkley, who still looks as sensational as ever after talking about embracing her 'wrinkles' following her 70th birthday (pictured in May 2024)

The late Dennis Waterman (left) and John Thaw (right) starred side-by-side for three years in The Sweeney, playing two 'hard-edged' detectives of the Metropolitan Police pursuing criminals across London (pictured in the series)

You'll likely be surprised to hear however that - despite their ageing appearances and occasionally grey hair - Thaw and Waterman began filming for the series in the mid-70s when they were just 33 and 24 respectively (pictured in the series)

Sir Sean Connery pictured aged 34 during the James Bond film Goldfinger in 1964

Actor Thomas shot to fame in Love Actually when he was just 13 and has gone on to star in hits like The Maze Runner series and Nanny McPhee

Connery, who became well known for a having a rugged lifestyle during his Bond era, died at the age of 90 in October 2020
