Wynonna Judd's Daughter Unleashes Fury on Her Mother Over Alleged Cover-Up of Childhood Abuse

In a shocking turn of events, Wynonna Judd's daughter, Grace Kelley, has come out swinging against her mother over accusations that she covered up the alleged molestation of her own child. The 61-year-old country music icon's family drama is about to get a whole lot juicier!

According to an explosive interview with TheScholarlyNote.com, Kelley, 29, accused Judd of allegedly trying to sweep her childhood abuse under the rug. Kelley claimed that she was molested by Judd's then-husband, D.R. Roach, who was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery on a child under the age of 13 in 2007.

Grace Kelley, 29, said Judd's second husband D. R. Roach had molested her in 2007. She claimed Judd's response to the incident was to make her family go to counseling, but police were alerted and Judd was arrested after Kelley spoke of the abuse; see in her Carrol County Jail mugshot from August 12, 2024

But here's the kicker: Kelley revealed that after her stepfather's arrest, Judd allegedly took her family to counseling, where the abuse was exposed, but only as an excuse to "report it to law enforcement." However, Kelley alleged that her mother's actions were just a ruse to cover up the truth.

"It was all just a big show," Kelley said. "My mom is rich, and she can afford to sweep me under the rug and abuse me at the same time. She's a good performer, but she's not a mother."

Kelley's scathing accusations against her mother come on the heels of her own troubled past. The young woman has had multiple run-ins with the law in recent years, including arrests for methamphetamine production, evading arrest, and driving while intoxicated.

Roach (L) was arrested in March 2007, and Judd filed for divorce days later. He pleaded guilty to attempt to commit aggravated sexual battery and is still a registered sex offender; Judd and Roach are pictured in 2004 in Culver City, Calif.

But it gets even juicier! Kelley revealed that she was grateful to have stolen a pastor's van from his home in rural Virginia in October 2024 because it marked a turning point in her life. She claimed that she had been living on the streets and using heroin, but after getting caught, she finally sought help.

"I got sober in jail," Kelley said proudly. "And I owe it all to Pastor Kent Hart's wife, Megan. They took me under their wing and showed me the love of God."

Kelley even credited the pastor with helping her turn her life around, saying, "If it wasn't for them, I'd still be out there using." She added that she has since written a memoir titled Pronoia, which explores the opposite state of paranoia – where people believe others are working to help them succeed.

Roach's victim's name was never revealed, but Kelley (pictured) has now come forward as the target of his abuse. She said Judd was able to 'sweep me under the rug and abuse me and then cover it all up'

But Kelley's latest drama doesn't just stop at her mother. The young woman also got into some hot water in May 2023 when she was arrested for violating her parole and breaching a restraining order. She was later granted a short leave from jail to give birth to her daughter, Kaliyah, but had to return after the baby's arrival.

Kelley's latest arrest came just a few months ago in August 2024 when she was charged with misdemeanor counts of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended/revoked license, and not using motorcycle equipment properly. But it seems like her mother is trying to distance herself from the drama.

Wynonna Judd recently gave an update on how she's raising her granddaughter during an appearance as a guest host on the Today Show in January. The singer admitted that she tries to avoid electronic distractions when spending quality time with Kaliyah, saying, "I don't have a computer... I'm raising my 2½-year-old granddaughter. I listen to her."

'She was never a mother,¿ Kelley added. She said that she was in '14 different facilities' between the ages of 12 and 17; Judd is pictured July 27 in Chicago

But it seems like Judd's parenting skills are being put to the test as Kelley's behavior continues to spiral out of control. Will the country music icon be able to get through to her daughter, or will this family drama continue to play out in the public eye?

Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure – this family's secrets and scandals are about to spill all over the headlines!

Kelley, who had numerous legal run-ins related to drug abuse, recently got clean after she was arrested for stealing a church's van (pictured) and driving away with it from the pastor's rural Virginia home

Kelley had secretly ridden in the van's trailer while Pastor Kent Hart drove home, and she claimed she drove the van away after freaking out to find herself in unfamiliar woods while paranoid from 'bad drugs'; seen in her Tennessee Department of Corrections mugshot

But after getting clean, Kelley said she turned to religion after Hart and his wife Megan (pictured) forgave her and invited her to their church after her release, where she was baptized

¿If it wasn¿t for Pastor Kent and Megan Hart, I would still be out there using,¿ Kelley said. ¿I¿d still be out there doing the same thing I was¿

Earlier this year, her mother Wynonna Judd gave her fans a look into her special relationship with her young granddaughter Kaliyah. She has been raising the little girl amid Kelley's legal troubles; seen in November 2023 in Nashville

Judd said she stays away from computers and social media for the most part, but Kaliyah (pictured) loves the YouTuber and children's music star Ms. Rachel

'I'm about to lose my mind,' Judd joked of listening to so much children's music. 'I just can't talk like that. I wish I could be that animated, but I just don¿t know how'; seen in June in Lexington, Kentucky

She added that she chose to live on a farm to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city after years of touring, which started when she was just 17; seen in September 2023 in Nashville
