Victoria Beckham's Emotional Tribute to Estranged Son Brooklyn at Netflix Doc Premiere

Victoria Beckham, 51, mentioned her estranged son Brooklyn in her heartfelt thank you speech at the premiere of her Netflix documentary at London's Curzon Mayfair cinema on Wednesday

BECKHAM FAMILY DRAMA: VICTORIA'S EMOTIONAL THANK YOU SPEECH AT NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE

The air was electric at London's Curzon Mayfair cinema on Wednesday as Victoria Beckham basked in the glory of her highly anticipated Netflix documentary, but the spotlight also shone brightly on the family drama that has been plaguing the Beckhams for months. The Spice Girl turned fashion designer took to the stage to thank her loved ones, including her estranged son Brooklyn, who infamously skipped out on his mother's big night.

In a heartfelt speech, Victoria, 49, gushed about her beloved family, making sure to include all four of her children – Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14. However, it was clear that the elephant in the room was Brooklyn's absence. The 26-year-old has been MIA from most Beckham family events this year, following a reported rift between him and his parents.

Despite Brooklyn, 26, failing to attend his mother's big night, Victoria didn't hesitate when bringing up her son at the screening on stage (pictured together in 2019)

Victoria's speech was laced with emotion as she thanked her family for their unwavering support. "My children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper – and David – oh my God, he's not a child! – I was doing so well without [prompt] cards, too!" she laughed, trying to lighten the mood. But it was clear that Victoria's words were tinged with sadness, as she reflected on her journey and the lessons she's learned along the way.

"It's taken this process to really be proud of what I've achieved and to realise finally that I am enough," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "I very much live in the present, I'm always looking forward, I'm very ambitious, I dream really big. But this process forced me to reflect and look at my journey so far and it was a very emotional experience – I've never done that before."

Victoria's candid speech also included a nod to her former Spice Girls bandmates Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B, and Mel C, who were all in attendance to support their close friend. "I'd like to thank the Spice Girls – Geri, Emma, Melanie, and Melanie. I love you so much and thank you so much," she said, her voice filled with gratitude.

Holding back her emotion as she thanked her beloved family, she said: 'My children - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper - and David - oh my God he¿s not a child! - I was doing so well without [prompt] cards as well!'

But despite the emotional speech, the evening's festivities were marred by Brooklyn's absence. The 26-year-old has been at odds with his parents for months, following a reported falling out that led to him skipping David's 50th birthday celebrations. It remains to be seen when – or if – Brooklyn will reconcile with his family.

Meanwhile, Victoria's husband David Beckham, 50, was by her side throughout the evening, looking dashing as ever in a tailored suit. The couple's other children, Romeo and Cruz, were also out in full force, bringing their girlfriends along for the celebration. Harper, on the other hand, looked like a mini Spice Girl herself, rocking a chic outfit and a bright smile.

The documentary, which follows Victoria's journey from her Spice Girls days to her current status as a fashion designer, is set to premiere on Netflix on October 9. The three-part series promises to give fans an intimate look at Victoria's life, including her experiences as a mother, wife, and entrepreneur.

'It¿s taken this process to really be proud of what I¿ve achieved and to realise finally that I am enough', she added

As for the other Spice Girls in attendance, Mel C made a rare appearance with her new boyfriend Chris Dingwall, while Geri Halliwell was joined by her husband Christian Horner – who recently made headlines after receiving an £80million pay-off from his former employers, Red Bull. The couple's public appearance was seen as a major move for the pair, who have kept their relationship under wraps in recent months.

Mel B, unfortunately, couldn't make it to the premiere due to business commitments in the US. However, she made sure to send flowers to Victoria with a sweet message, wishing her luck on her big night. Despite the absence of one Spice Girl, the evening was still filled with the familiar warmth and camaraderie that has come to define the group.

As for Brooklyn's no-show, only time will tell what the future holds for the Beckham family drama. One thing is certain, however: Victoria Beckham's emotional speech at her Netflix documentary premiere will be remembered for a long time – as a poignant reminder of the love and gratitude she feels for her family, despite their current struggles.

Brooklyn's no show marks yet another Beckham family event he has failed to attend, ever since their family rift
