The inimitable Victoria Beckham turned heads as she left her hotel in New York City on Monday, exuding effortless chic and sophistication. The 51-year-old fashion designer, who's currently promoting her Netflix docuseries, stunned in an all-black ensemble that showcased her incredible physique.
Victoria paired a sleek long-sleeved midi dress with matching heels, creating a head-turning look that had passersby swooning. She accessorized with a chic black handbag and donned stylish sunglasses, while styling her brunette locks into a ponytail added to her polished appearance. A light palette of makeup and white earrings completed the look, solidifying Victoria's status as a style icon.
But what's even more intriguing is what was happening behind closed doors at the Beckham residence! David Beckham, 50, took to Instagram Stories to poke fun at his wife's lack of cooking skills, captioning a video of himself single-handedly preparing Sunday lunch for their visiting parents. "I am doing Sunday roast for when our parents arrive in a few hours, which they should be very excited about," he quipped.
When Victoria offered to lend a hand, David cheekily shot back: "Absolutely not, stay away!" The Spice Girl, however, wasn't having it, and continued to tease her husband about his cooking prowess (or lack thereof). In another clip, busy David exclaimed: "Darling, we are not making a ham and cheese toasty!" as Victoria playfully jabbed at him.
But the joke's on us – it turns out David had downed an astonishing eight shots of tequila while cooking! As their parents arrived, he quipped: "Do you want another one?" before taking yet another shot. Meanwhile, Victoria shared a heartwarming family snap around the table, captioning it: "Sunday roast with the fam"
This isn't the first time David has been open about his cooking skills – or lack thereof! In an interview with The Telegraph last year, Victoria confessed that she never cooks due to her infamous inability to boil water. Their daughter Harper even chimed in, saying: "[Mum] can burn water," which has solidified the Beckham family's stance on who does (or doesn't) cook at home.
The Beckhams, who tied the knot in 1999, have been going strong for over two decades, raising four beautiful children – Brooklyn, 26; Romeo, 23; Cruz, 20; and Harper, 14. Earlier this week, Victoria took to Instagram to celebrate her youngest son's girlfriend Jackie Apostel's milestone birthday. "Happy birthday, we hope you have an amazing day and can't wait to celebrate with you," she wrote, sharing a series of snaps in tribute to the lovely Jackie.
