Unmasking the Unrecognizable: Who's Behind the Salt and Pepper Beard?
Jeremy Sisto: The 90s Heartthrob Who's Still Got It!
Get ready for a blast from the past, folks! We've got some juicy gossip and updates on one of our favorite 90s heartthrobs, Jeremy Sisto. You know, that dreamy guy who played Elton Tiscia in the iconic Clueless movie? Yeah, that's him!
Fast forward to today, and Jeremy is looking like a completely different person. Gone are his clean-cut days as a Beverly Hills student; now he's rocking salt-and-pepper hair and a bushy beard. But don't worry, it's just a sign of age (he's 50 now) - the man still has that unmistakable charm!
Jeremy may have lost out on playing Jack Dawson in Titanic to Leonardo DiCaprio (ouch!), but we're sure he doesn't regret his decision to pursue other projects. After all, he's had an impressive career, starring in HBO's Six Feet Under, Law & Order, and since 2018, leading the cop show FBI as a series regular.
But let's get back to Clueless - the movie that catapulted Jeremy to fame alongside Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd. We hear there's a TV series on the horizon, with Alicia set to reprise her iconic role as Cher Horowitz! As one of the executive producers on this project, she'll be joined by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl and The O.C.) - we're already salivating!
And don't worry, folks; the original director of Clueless, Amy Heckerling, is also on board as an executive producer. This time around, however, Jordan Weiss will join the team, having recently worked on Freakier Friday (2025). We can only imagine how this new series will bring a fresh spin to our beloved Cher Horowitz!
The news has left fans divided - some are ecstatic about the possibility of a Clueless TV series, while others are more skeptical. One social media user wrote: "If she's in it's good but we seriously don't need to touch this Classic," while another simply typed out: "Enough with the sequels."
But fear not; we've got some enthusiastic fans who can't wait for the show to hit our screens! "I will be getting that Peacock subscription," one user declared, while another added: "As long as Alicia is there, it might be good but Peacock doesn't have a good track record when creating new shows."
We won't lie - we're intrigued. Will this new series live up to its predecessor? Only time (and the fine folks at Peacock) will tell!
Then and Now: Jeremy Sisto's Journey
Jeremy may look like he's aged remarkably well, but let's take a trip down memory lane. Back in 1995, when Clueless was released, Jeremy was just 21 years old. He auditioned for the role of Jack Dawson in Titanic but lost out to Leonardo DiCaprio (ouch!).
But Jeremy didn't let this setback get him down. In an interview with HuffPost Live, he revealed how he'd always been inspired by James Cameron's epic romance: "I loved it... It was a huge thing at the time. What a great idea." He went on to say that reading for the role with Kate Winslet was an incredible experience.
Jeremy also talked about his college years and how Clueless became like his own coming-of-age story. "For me, it was like Breakfast Club when I was a kid," he said wistfully. Although the movie has since become a cult classic, Jeremy admitted to being concerned that he'd struggle to find other suitable roles.
Fast forward to today, and Jeremy's career is going strong. Not only has he starred in numerous TV shows and movies but has also voiced animated films like King Runeard in Disney's Frozen II!
