Unbeknownst Co-Star: How Patsy Ferran Uncovered Paul Mescal's Fame

While millions of women would kill to be in the company of Paul Mescal , actress Patsy Ferran spent countless hours on stage and in rehearsal with the Normal People star, without having a clue quite who he was

SCANDALOUS CELEBRITY ENCOUNTER!

In a shocking revelation, actress Patsy Ferran has spilled the tea on her encounter with Hollywood heartthrob Paul Mescal - and it's a tale of innocence lost and fan-girl fantasies realized!

As it turns out, the talented 35-year-old thesplan was completely oblivious to Mescal's status as a global sex symbol, even while sharing the stage with him in London's Almeida Theatre. It wasn't until she witnessed throngs of swooning fans gathered outside the stage door that the penny dropped - and Ferran's jaw hit the floor!

It was only when she saw crowds of swooning fans gathered outside the stage door after their performances of A Streetcar Named Desire in London that the penny finally dropped

"I knew of him, obviously," she confesses to The Scholarly Note, "but I somehow was living under a rock the whole time Normal People came out, so I hadn't seen it." It seems Patsy was so caught up in her own theatrical pursuits that she remained blissfully unaware of Mescal's newfound fame.

But all bets were off when Ferran watched Aftersun, the coming-of-age drama that earned Mescal an Oscar nomination. "I told him how much I enjoyed it," she reveals. "And he went, 'Thanks very much'." Little did Patsy know that this chance encounter would soon escalate into full-blown fan-girl frenzy!

As it turns out, Ferran's admiration for Mescal didn't go unnoticed - and when they shared the stage once more in A Streetcar Named Desire, her admiration reached new heights. "I looked at him from across the stage, and I just thought, 'Oh my god!' I got really fan-girly and flustered," she admits, blushing.

Paul  recently picked up an Olivier Award for his performance as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire, while Patsy starred alongside him as Blanche DuBois

But Ferran's most jaw-dropping confession comes when discussing her experience working with none other than George Clooney on their upcoming comedy-drama, Jay Kelly. "It was just a crazy experience," she gushes. "You've been watching these people your whole life and when they walk into your own reality, it's like a glitch... You're not supposed to be real!"

In contrast to her relatively chill encounter with Mescal, Ferran reveals that working alongside Clooney left her utterly starstruck. "I mean, you've seen his movies, you've read about him in the press... and then suddenly he's standing there, looking at you like a normal human being," she marvels. "It was just surreal!"

With Patsy Ferran's latest film, Hot Milk, set to drop on Friday, and Jay Kelly following closely behind in December - it seems this talented actress is about to take the world by storm!
