Tyrese Gibson Wanted for Animal Cruelty: Neighbor's Dog Dead
Tyrese Gibson's Canine Catastrophe: Animal Cruelty Warrant Issued Amid Shocking Dog Attack Investigation
The fast lane just got a whole lot slower for Tyrese Gibson, the 46-year-old Fast & Furious star who's been speeding his way into hot water with the law. A warrant has been issued for the singer-turned-actor's arrest in connection to an animal cruelty investigation that's left one neighbor shaken and another community outraged.
According to reports from WSBTV News and picked up by TheScholarlyNote.com, Gibson's four Cane Corso dogs have been linked to the tragic death of a beloved pet dog named Henry, a five-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who met his untimely demise in a yard just across the street from Gibson's Atlanta, Georgia mansion.
The investigation reveals that Gibson had a history of letting his behemoths roam free, with multiple neighbors coming forward to report sightings of the massive dogs wandering off-leash. It's believed that one of these loose cannons - or rather, loose Cane Corsos - attacked Henry through an invisible fence, leaving him for dead.
But here's the kicker: security footage obtained by police shows Gibson's own dogs scratching at a door across the street mere minutes before the fatal attack! That's right; it appears they were on the prowl and ready to pounce. Captain Nicole Dwyer, head of Fulton County Police Animal Services, expressed her outrage at Gibson's negligence, stating, "It is the negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free. And now they have killed an innocent animal."
And if that weren't enough, there were no less than five other reports in the week leading up to Henry's death of Gibson's dogs running amok in the neighborhood! That's some serious dog-gone recklessness right there!
Now, you might be wondering why Gibson isn't facing any charges yet. Well, it turns out that when Animal Services arrived at his mansion to collect the offending canines on September 22, the actor had other plans. He requested an extension of three or four more days to "decide" whether to surrender his pets - a decision that ultimately led to police obtaining a search warrant and an arrest warrant for animal cruelty!
But where's Tyrese now? On Instagram, he was sharing his love of sunsets, ocean views, and mental health breaks, posting cryptic messages like: "My well-need [sic] mental health recovery begins now! I'll be gone till November. Peace." The How You Gonna Act Like That singer claimed to be taking a break in Dubai (where the wealthy and famous go to escape their troubles), but it seems his getaway is about to get a whole lot more complicated.
Sources close to the investigation indicate that Gibson may have moved the offending dogs out of the country, or at least attempted to do so. When questioned by officials, he simply stated that he would "surrender" them - not exactly what was needed when Animal Services showed up on his doorstep.
As the drama unfolds and Tyrese's reps scramble to contain the damage, it's clear one thing: this singer-turned-actor needs a lot more than just a mental health break.
