Trump's US Open Gala: Granddaughter Arabella and MAGA Allies Shine

TRUMP'S TENTHINGS: THE MEGA-MAGA SHOWDOWN AT THE US OPEN

In a spectacle that was equal parts pomp, circumstance, and calculated politics, Donald Trump descended upon the hallowed grounds of Arthur Ashe Stadium at the US Open on Sunday, waving to adoring fans like a benevolent monarch. Flanked by his most trusted advisors, closest family members, and a coterie of sycophants, the 45th President of the United States looked every inch the kingmaker as he surveyed his kingdom from the exclusive Rolex box.

The presence of Trump at the men's final match was met with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The security measures taken by the United States Tennis Association were so stringent that they even prompted a delay in the start time, pushing back the scheduled 2 pm kick-off to 2:30 pm. But for Trump, who had announced his intention to attend earlier in the week, it was clearly business as usual.

The President's entourage was a veritable Who's Who of MAGA loyalists and family members. His darling granddaughter Arabella Kushner, 13 years young and looking every inch the fashionista in her teal-colored long dress, sat proudly to his left, alongside her father Jared. Ivanka Trump, however, was notably absent from the proceedings, fueling speculation about a possible rift within the First Family.

To Trump's right stood Pam Bondi, the fiery United States Attorney General, who looked every inch the confident and capable leader in her baby pink blazer. Next to her sat Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary who has become one of the most recognizable faces in MAGA-land since taking up her role. Leavitt beamed out at the crowds of tennis fans, her all-white suit a stark contrast to the sea of colorful attire on display.

But it was Leavitt's fashion choice that really caught the eye - her Gucci Dionysus handbag a $2,000 showstopper in a very patriotic red, white, and blue colorway. Nearby, Lindsey Halligan, Special Assistant to the President and close ally to Trump, paired her soft blowout with a white dress, Cartier watch, and white Hermes Birkin bag for a look that was equal parts chic and polished.

Dan Scavino, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, stood next to his partner Erin Elmore, who is the Director of Art in Embassies at U.S. Department of State, looking every inch the power couple. Elmore's chic white pants and brown shirt were a masterclass in understated elegance, complemented as they were by her perfectly coiffed hair.

Susie Wiles, White House chief of staff, stood out from the crowd with her bright yellow outfit, which she wore proudly to Jared Kushner's left. United States Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent was also on hand, standing next to Wiles in the president's box. Steve Witkoff, special envoy to the Middle East and special envoy for Peace Missions, looked every inch the seasoned diplomat in his suit.

Meanwhile, Margo Martin, Trump's special assistant and communications advisor, was hard at work behind the scenes, filming content from within the box while looking stylish in her polka dot dress. Natalie Harp, a former television personality turned aide for the president, wore a patterned red and white halter-neck outfit that was equal parts eye-catching and fun.

Chamberlain Harris, who previously worked as a receptionist at The White House and now works as an assistant, sat quietly to one side, observing the proceedings with a keen eye. As for Trump himself, he seemed entirely at home in his private suite at Arthur Ashe, where he was a guest of Swiss luxury watch brand Rolex.

But not everyone was thrilled about the President's presence at the US Open. In an email sent out by the United States Tennis Association to broadcasters including ESPN and Sky Sports on the evening before the match, it emerged that they had been instructed to censor any protests or reactions to Trump's attendance. And judging from the roaring cheers and scattered boos that greeted him as he emerged onto the scene roughly 40 minutes before the start of Sunday's final, it seems that opinions are still sharply divided.

So what does this all mean for the future of American tennis? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain - Trump's presence at the US Open has brought a whole new level of drama and intrigue to the already high-stakes world of professional tennis. As one observer noted, "This is more than just a tennis match - it's a battle for the hearts and minds of America." And with Trump and his entourage leading the charge, you can bet your last dollar that it's going to be a wild ride.
