Tributes Pour In: The World Mourns Ozzy Osbourne, 'The Prince of Darkness'

OZZY OSBOURNE LEAVES BEHIND A LEGACY OF ROCK 'N' ROLL CHAOS AND CONFESSIONS - BUT HIS DEMISE HAS LEFT THE MUSIC WORLD IN SHOCK!

The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, has bid adieu to the mortal coil at the ripe old age of 76. The news of his passing has sent shockwaves throughout the music industry, leaving fans and fellow rockers alike reeling in grief.

Among those paying tribute to the Black Sabbath icon are none other than Elton John, Rod Stewart, and Ronnie Wood - a trifecta of British rock royalty. "So sad to hear the news of Ozzy Osbourne passing away," wrote Sir Elton on Instagram. "He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods."

Ronnie Wood, too, shared his sentiments: "I am so very sad to hear of the death of Ozzy Osbourne. What a lovely goodbye concert he had at Back To The Beginning in Birmingham." And let's not forget Jason Momoa, the 45-year-old Hollywood hunk who joined forces with Ozzy on stage just weeks ago. "Love you @ozzyosbourne All my aloha @sharonosbourne and ohana. So grateful. RIP," he posted.

But it wasn't just the stars of rock 'n' roll who were left reeling by Ozzy's passing. His family, too, was hit hard. In a statement released through their representatives, Sharon Osbourne and her brood - Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis - paid tribute to their beloved patriarch: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."

As news of Ozzy's passing spread like wildfire across the globe, tributes began pouring in from far and wide. Yungblud, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter, wrote a heart-wrenching ode to the late rock god: "I didn’t think you would leave so soon... You will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage."

Even Piers Morgan - yes, that Piers Morgan! - got in on the act, posting a photo of himself with Ozzy and Sharon alongside the caption: "RIP Ozzy Osbourne. One of the greatest rock stars in history, and a wonderful character... Truly one of the funniest people I've ever known."

And let's not forget David Coverdale, founder and lead singer of Whitesnake - who was reportedly once considered for the role of Black Sabbath frontman! "My Sincere Condolences To Sharon, The Family, Friends & Fans," he wrote on Instagram.

But as the music world continues to mourn the loss of one its most iconic figures, we can't help but think back on Ozzy's incredible life. Born John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham in 1948, he dropped out of school at just 15 and went on to serve two months in prison for burglary. But it was his love of music that ultimately led him to form Black Sabbath with Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward - a band that would go on to achieve legendary status.

Ozzy's battle with Parkinson's disease had been well-documented in recent years, but despite his physical limitations, he still managed to reunite with his bandmates for one final farewell gig earlier this month. And even as his health began to decline, Ozzy remained the same old Oz - raucous, rebellious, and ready to rock 'n' roll.

As we bid adieu to the Prince of Darkness, we can't help but think back on all the incredible music he left behind - from "Paranoid" to "Crazy Train", from "Iron Man" to "Mr. Crowley". And as the tributes continue to pour in, one thing is clear: Ozzy Osbourne may be gone, but his legacy will live on forever.

After sharing the stage at Villa Park in Birmingham, Ronnie Wood said he is 'very sad' to learn of Ozzy's death
