Travis Kelce's Mom, Donna, Stirs Controversy with Misogynistic Post About Fiancée Taylor Swift

In a shocking turn of events, Travis Kelce's mom, Donna, has come under fire for her involvement in a "misogynistic" post about her future daughter-in-law's uterus. The 72-year-old matriarch was tagged as a joint collaborator in an Instagram video that joked about Taylor Swift's "aching" uterus wanting to "breed" with the big old Kelce boy.

The original post, shared by comedian Leanne Morgan, was a joke from her stand-up set where she said: "Her uterus is aching, and she wants a baby. She wants a baby, and it's time. It's time for her to want a baby and she wants to breed with that big old Kelce boy." The post then took a turn when Morgan tagged Donna, writing: "Congratulations, girl!!! Wahoo!!!!! Grand babies playing ball AND singing!!!"

The Kelce matriarch, 72, was tagged as a joint collaborator in a video shared to Instagram that joked about Taylor Swift 's 'uterus aching' to 'breed' a Kelce baby - with fans labeling the repost 'weird'

However, not everyone found the joke amusing, especially Taylor Swift's loyal fans who were fuming over the perceived misogynistic rhetoric. One Reddit user shared the video with the caption: "Donna Kelce co-posts misogynistic comedy bit where Taylor is referred as someone whose 'uterus is aching' to 'breed' with 'big' Travis Kelce." The comments section was filled with criticism, with some accusing Donna of internalized misogyny.

"I can see why she liked it, she probably liked the attention the comedian gave her. It is still weird though that she didn't think it through before liking it because the 'comedy' about Taylor is f*ing weird and misogynistic and insensitive because not all women CAN have babies and some also don't want to," one user pointed out.

But not everyone was quick to judge Donna, with some defending her by saying: "We need to give her some slack. I'm sure if Taylor was uncomfortable either Travis, Taylor, or someone from their teams would say something." Others claimed that the post might have been an accident, as it has since been deleted.

Some pointed out the the mom-of two is obviously excited about the upcoming nuptials, sharing a collection of photographs and other items of her son Travis and fiancee Taylor Swift after they gotten engaged

The controversy surrounding the post comes just days after the power couple announced their engagement news on Instagram. Since then, Donna has started gathering memories of her youngest son's romance with Taylor, including photos and mementos from their first days as an engaged couple.

A source close to the family told People: "Donna is already saving little things from this time like photos, notes, and flowers. She is very sentimental about it. She wants to remember every detail, so she has been holding onto mementos from their first days as an engaged couple."

Travis's father Ed also shared some precious details on the proposal, telling News 5 Cleveland: "Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago. He was going to put it off till this week... But I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event."

It was there, nearly two years ago in September 2023, that Swift confirmed that she and Kelce were an item by taking a seat alongside Donna to watch the Chiefs play the Chicago Bears

As for Donna's background picture on Facebook, she changed it to a viral meme showing pictures of Travis and Taylor as kids, captioned: "THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED." The post has sparked a heated debate among fans, with some defending Donna while others are still fuming over the perceived misogynistic rhetoric.
