ROYAL SHOCKER: Prince William's Cousin, 20, Found Dead at Family Home

In a devastating turn of events, Princess Diana's cousin's daughter, Rosie Roche, has tragically passed away at just 20 years old. The Durham University student was discovered by her mother Pippa and sister Agatha at their family home in rural Wiltshire.

According to sources close to the family, Rosie had been packing for a trip with friends when tragedy struck. A firearm was found near her body at the property in Norton, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding her untimely death.

As news of her passing spread, the Roche family paid tribute to their beloved daughter and sister, describing her as a "darling daughter" to her parents Pippa and Hugh, and an "incredible sister" to Archie and Agatha. In a statement, the family said that Rosie will be "sorely missed."

ROYAL TIES: A FAMILY WITH A HISTORY OF TRAGEDY

Rosie's family has a long history of tragedy and heartache. Her grandfather, Edmund Roche, was Princess Diana's uncle, who took his own life in 1984 after suffering from depression. The circumstances of her grandfather's death eerily mirror those of Thomas Kingston, the husband of royal Lady Gabriella Windsor, who died in February under similar circumstances.

AN INQUEST INTO THE DEATH: NO SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

An inquest into Rosie's death was opened on Sunday at Wiltshire and Swindon coroner's court. Coroner Grant Davies revealed that police have deemed the death as non-suspicious, with no third-party involvement.

In a statement to thescholarlynote.com, Wiltshire Police said, "This relates to the sudden death of a woman in her 20s. There are no suspicious circumstances and our thoughts are with her family. We would ask that their privacy is respected at this terrible time."

ROSIE'S LIFE AND TIMES: A STUDENT WITH A PROMISING FUTURE

Rosie was studying for a degree in English Literature at Durham University. Her academic pursuits were cut short by her tragic passing.

OBITUARY HONORING ROSIE'S LIFE

An obituary published by the Yorkshire Post paid tribute to Rosie's life, saying: "Roche, Rosie Jeanne Burke. Died on Monday 14th July 2025. Darling daughter of Hugh and Pippa, incredible sister to Archie and Agatha, Granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long. Private family funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date."

MEMORIAL SERVICE TO FOLLOW

Rosie was the granddaughter of Princess Diana 's uncle, the 5th Baron Fermoy, Edmund Roche, left in 1965, who killed himself in 1984 after suffering from a long bout of depression.  He is pictured with his wife Lady Fermoy at the christening of their daughter Frances

As the news of Rosie's passing continues to spread, her loved ones are left to pick up the pieces and plan a memorial service in her honor.
