SHOCKING HIT-AND-RUN TRAGEDY ROCKS HOLLYWOOD: Beloved Script Supervisor Killed by Reckless Golfer

In a heart-wrenching tragedy, the film industry is mourning the loss of Amy Blanc Lacy, a talented and beloved script supervisor who was killed in a devastating hit-and-run crash with a speeding golfer. The incident has left friends, family, and colleagues reeling as they struggle to come to terms with the senseless loss of this bright light.

According to authorities, 62-year-old Amy Lacy was sitting in the back seat of her son's car on September 1 when Buck Rollins, a 31-year-old golfer, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into them at an astonishing 91 mph in a 45 mph zone. The impact was so severe that the car launched over the curb, striking Lacy's vehicle with deadly force.

Despite the severity of her injuries, Lacy spent four days in a coma before passing away due to complications from the crash. Her two sons, Oliver and Adrian, who were also injured in the accident, are now recovering at home.

But what makes this tragedy even more egregious is that Rollins, who was driving erratically and speeding prior to the crash, fled the scene of the accident, leaving behind a trail of destruction and devastation. Witnesses reported seeing him casually exit his vehicle, golf clubs in hand, before walking away from the carnage.

"I saw the whole thing," said Stacey Elgin, a witness who tried to stop Rollins after the crash. "He was driving like a maniac, and I knew he had caused this terrible wreck. I followed him because I knew we had the green light, and he was trying to get out of the situation."

Rollins' version of events has been disputed by investigators, who found data from the airbag control modules that suggests he removed his foot from the accelerator just 2.5 seconds before impact. This contradicts his claim that he suffered a seizure during the crash.

As police continue to investigate this heinous crime, Rollins has turned himself in and has been charged with first-degree homicide by vehicle, hit and run, reckless driving, and speeding. He was released on a $70,000 bond, sparking outrage among those who feel justice is not being served.

The film industry is in shock over Lacy's passing, with many taking to social media to pay tribute to her dedication, passion, and kindness. "Amy was an angel," said actor Khary Payton, who played King Ezekiel on The Walking Dead. "I'll be looking for you in all the little beautiful things. Love and miss you."

Police said Rollins crashed into them going 91 mph in a 45 mph zone after driving over the curb, which caused the car to launch into the air and hit Lacy's car

Director Erin Lee Carr described Lacy as a "bright light" on set, bringing her meticulous eye and fierce heart to every project she worked on.

In an effort to support Lacy's family during this difficult time, a GoFundMe has been set up to cover funeral expenses and provide financial assistance. The fundraiser has already received numerous donations from those who were touched by Lacy's life and work.

"Amy Lacy was a radiant and beautiful presence in the Film Community," reads the GoFundMe page. "She raised three wonderful children, filling their lives with joy, laughter, and dance. Amy, your spirit will forever illuminate our lives, and you will continue to dance in our hearts."

Her son Oliver Lacy, 23, who was driving their car, and another son, Adrian Lacy, 25, were also hospitalized

As the investigation into this tragic incident continues, one thing is clear: justice must be served for Amy Lacy and her family.
