Tom Brady's Roast Revelation: Kids Upset by Netflix Jokes on Gisele

Tom Brady Bravely Takes on Comedy Central Roast, Opens Up About the Hardest Part: His Kids' Feelings

The king of the gridiron has taken his humility off the field and onto the stage! In a tell-all interview with comedian Kevin Hart on the hit podcast "Cold as Balls," Tom Brady revealed what it's like to be roasted on national TV - and surprisingly, it wasn't just the jokes that got to him. The Patriots legend shared with Hart about the most challenging part of being the subject of a Comedy Central roast: watching his children get hurt by the insults.

"Hey, I'm used to getting roasted in the locker room," Brady explained to Hart as they soaked in cold tubs on Old Spice's "Cold as Balls." "But when it comes to my kids... that was tough for me."

Brady and Bundchen were married for 13 years. They had two kids together - son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivien, 12. Brady has another son, Jack, from a previous relationship

The usually stoic quarterback didn't reveal which specific jokes stung his kids the most - but he did hint at the source of some of the humor. You see, his 2022 split from supermodel Gisele Bundchen was still fresh on everyone's minds (and tongues). Hart had a few choice words for Brady during Comedy Central's "G.R.O.A.T." (Greatest Roast of All Time) special:

"Hey Tom, remember when Gisele gave you an ultimatum?" Hart asked. "'You retire or we're done' - that's what she said to you, Tom."

Hart then delivered a low blow: "When you had the chance to go 8-9 and all it would cost you is your wife and kids... you gotta do what the f* you gotta do, right?"

Tom Brady said he didn't mind be roasted by Kevin Hart and others, until he talked to his kids

But Brady was surprisingly unfazed by the barrage of jokes. He even revealed that he's a long-time fan of comedy and laughter, saying: "I think laughter is the best form of medicine for all of us... when I went through hard times in my life, I've always turned to comedy and laughter."

However, not everyone was laughing - especially Gisele Bundchen. Last year, after the roast aired, TheScholarlyNote.com reported that she was "unhappy" with being targeted on the show. And a source close to her told People: "As always, Gisele's priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted."

The two-time NFL MVP and his wife of 13 years (before their 2022 split) have two kids together - Benjamin, 15, and Vivien, 12. Brady also has another son, Jack, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Despite the grueling roast, Brady's family seems to be holding up... for now. When asked about his plans for more roasting in the future, Brady quipped: "Hey, bring it on! I'm not easily hurt... unless you're talking about my kids' feelings."

And there you have it - Tom Brady, the man who's seen it all, including a Comedy Central roast that left him and his family feeling a little tender.
