When asked about her secrets to staying eternally youthful, Tia Carrere dished out her philosophy: "Everything in moderation! Live, love, laugh... Sleep well, drink lots of water, be joyful!" It seems this Hollywood veteran has found the perfect balance to maintain that radiant glow.

This industry darling has enjoyed a four-decade career alongside A-listers like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sean Connery. Her most recent role was in the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch (2022), where she voiced the character Nani. When asked about her experience, Tia beamed with pride: "I'm still standing all these years later! It's quite stunning."

However, not everything has been a walk in the park for this Hawaiian-born beauty. Remember when she appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011 alongside Donald Trump? Yeah, that was a wild ride. When asked about her time on the show, Tia candidly shared: "I sort of threw myself on my sword – I wanted to get out of there! It was just difficult dealing with these people on there that were not very nice."

By everybody else's metric they would be two losers in a basement, but it's their friendship and their sheer joy of living."

For those who are curious, yes, Tia Carrere did turn down a role in Baywatch to star in Wayne's World. When asked about her decision, she laughed: "People feel great about the movie. But you never know how it's going to go, and it was a monster hit! The lowest budgeted film at Paramount that year and it was the biggest hit."

Tia will be hosting Q&A Screenings on Wayne's World in Melbourne on June 19 and Sydney on June 20. She'll also be appearing at Supernova Sydney on June 21 and 22.
