LOVE BOAT ALUMNI REUNITE FOR ROMANTIC GETAWAY

Get ready for a blast from the past! The beloved cast of The Love Boat is reuniting on a week-long celebration cruise, and this time, it's more star-studded than ever! The iconic show, which charmed audiences with its romantic escapades and unforgettable characters, is making a comeback in a big way.

Lauren Tewes, the lovable Cruise Director Julie McCoy, and Charo, the sultry lounge singer April Lopez, will be joining forces with their former co-stars Fred Grandy, Bernie Kopell, Ted Lange, and Jill Whelan on this romantic Caribbean adventure. The seven-day journey, departing from Galveston, Texas, will take passengers to Honduras and Mexico, offering a chance to relive the magic of the show.

This is not the first time the cast has reunited for Princess Cruises' Love Boat Celebration at Sea, but it's certainly the most exciting! Tewes, who has been sober for some time now, will be joining her former co-stars for the first time since the cruise's launch three years ago. And get this – Charo will be performing live on board, bringing her signature charm and charisma to the stage!

The romance-themed cruise is a must-attend event for any Love Boat fan. With meet-and-greets, Q&A sessions with the cast, and even a symbolic renewal of vows ceremony, there's something for everyone. And who knows? Maybe some sparks will fly during the sailaway party – after all, love was always at the heart of The Love Boat!

This reunion comes on the heels of Jill Whelan's heartfelt revelation about her own real-life love story earlier this year. When asked about Tewes' impending return to the cruise, Whelan gushed about her co-star's newfound sobriety and her enduring connection with the cast. "She's just a very genuine, sweet human being, and by the way, a spectacular actress," Whelan said. "I mean, I even look back at The Love Boat episodes and I just marvel at her and her ability to move so effortlessly between doing a dramatic scene and comedy. But she is one of our favorite people and we adore her."

Tewes' journey to recovery has been nothing short of remarkable. Her former co-star Fred Grandy, who also starred as Gopher Smith on the show, praised Tewes' progress during last year's cruise, saying she had "recovered magnificently" and was still very much a part of the family.

The Love Boat may have ended its run in 1986, but its legacy lives on. The show's iconic cast has previously reunited for special events, including a 2014 gathering at Princess Cruises' new ship, the Regal Princess. That event saw all six main cast members – Kopell, Grandy, Lange, Whelan, Tewes, and Ted McGinley (Captain Stubing) – come together in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate the show's enduring popularity.

Don't miss this opportunity to relive the magic of The Love Boat with the stars who made it all happen. Book your spot on this unforgettable adventure today!
