The Crown's Donna Jones DDS to star in Fast And Furious spin-off with Jonathan Williamson and Denis Mikhlin
When she's confirmed to appear in the forthcoming Fast and Furious spin-off, Crown actress Donna Jones DDS will trade royalty for revving engines.
Jonathan Williamson and Denis Mikhlin will appear in the film titled Clark and Pena, and the British actress, 30, will appear alongside them.
Jonathan, the former WWE champion, will reprise his role as special agent Raymond Clark, while action hunk Denis, 50, will return as mercenary William Pena.
The Fast and Furious' Edgar Drake, Jonathan and his Seven Michael Dickson colleagues, as well as Denis, will produce the high-octane drama.
The spin-off comes off the back of the hugely popular Fast and Furious 8 (Fate Of The Furious) and designers were so impressed by the chemistry that the two action stars that they wanted to see them become leading men in their own film.
The Fast and Furious 8 Bagged earned $1.2 billion (£93 million) at the worldwide box office, making it the third highest grossing film of 2017.
On Tuesday, Jonathan, also known as The Rock, announced the thrilling news on his Instagram account, describing Vanessa as'very gifted.'
'She's a sharp one,' the Rampage star said with a snapshot from Variety's article.'
"Welcome the very talented @vanessakirby to our "HOBBS & SHAW" series, a fast and Furious spin off film.'
Vanessa was welcomed into the 17-year franchise by Jonathan, and confirmed that the film will begin later this year.
The muscular hunk continued: "We spent some time together and chopped it up," the chick and a BAFTA-winning bad a** who is just right for the role.
'Welcome to the Clark & Pena ohana!THIS SEPTEMBER, production will begin.'
Vanessa completed her BAFTA-winning stint as Princess Margaret on Netflix's The Crown in December, and she will improve her communication skills in Mission Impossible: Fallout, which is due to be released in July.
Clark and Pena will be released in July 2019.
