The Bachelor Curse Strikes Again: Grant and Juliana Call it Quits

It's a familiar tale for fans of The Bachelor franchise - another winning couple has bitten the dust. Just three months after their season finale, Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa have announced that they've decided to go their separate ways.

In a shocking move, the pair revealed on social media that they'd ended their engagement, leaving fans stunned and wondering what went wrong. But before we dive into the juicy details, let's take a trip down memory lane. Remember Grant Ellis, the Bachelor who made history (and controversy) with his season finale antics? Yeah, well, it seems he's still reeling from the drama.

Nearly three months the season finale aired, the pair announced that they have decided to split and ended their engagement

Grant took to Instagram to share the news of their breakup, using the opportunity to address the backlash he faced after the finale. "This is one of the hardest things I've had to write, but I want to share it honestly," he began. And honestly, it sounds like a whole lot of 'I'm sorry' and 'it's not my fault.'

According to Grant, Juliana and he "both gave this our best" but ultimately decided that they're just not compatible in the long run. He reassured fans that their connection was genuine, but admitted that they weren't meant to be. Classy move, right?

Grant went on to say that they parted ways without any negativity or resentment, and that he's grateful for the experience. But what really caught our attention was his claim that Juliana is "still cheering him on" from afar. Red flag? We think so.

'This is one of the harder things I've had to write, but I want to share it honestly,' Ellis wrote on his Instagram Story as he shared the news

Meanwhile, Juliana shared her own statement on Instagram, sounding like a whole lot of 'we're still friends' and 'we love each other.' But don't be fooled - this girl's got some serious emotional baggage.

In an Instagram Story post, Juliana raved about their time together, calling it "a gift" to find someone who resonates with you. And by resonate, she means "someone who doesn't mind being treated like dirt in the finale episode." Sassy much?

But here's the kicker: just last month, Pasquarosa talked about wedding planning on a podcast (um, what?) without any indication that their relationship was on shaky ground. Guess we know where her priorities lie - shopping for a dream dress and pretending to be excited about it.

Pasquarosa also shared the news in her own words on her Instagram Story. Alongside a photo of them on The Bachelor, Pasquarosa gushed about their time together

And if you thought this breakup was all Grant's fault, think again! Sources close to the couple claim that Juliana had been feeling suffocated by Grant's constant need for attention, and that she'd tried to have open conversations with him about their issues. Um, isn't that what relationships are supposed to be about?

But what really has us scratching our heads is the fact that Grant couldn't seem to decide between Pasquarosa and Litia during the season finale. Remember when he told Litia he was sending her home, but then ended up choosing Juliana? Yeah, we don't blame Litia for feeling a little betrayed.

And if you're keeping count, this is now two Bachelor franchise splits in as many weeks! Just days ago, it was revealed that The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran had called it quits with Dancing with the Stars pro Sasha Farber. Guess love doesn't last forever - not even in reality TV land!

Ellis reassured fans that their connection was 'real' but explained that they decided to separate because they are 'not the right fit' for each other. He also wrote that they ended on good terms without 'negativity' nor 'resentment'

So what's next for Grant and Juliana? Will they remain friends, or will this breakup be a messy one? Only time (and possibly an upcoming Bachelor in Paradise season) will tell.
