The Ageless Star: How Stefanie Powers Continues to Shine

One of Hollywood¿s most glamorous leading ladies of the ¿70s and ¿80s turned heads in Los Angeles this week during a rare outing that left fans buzzing

HART TO HART'S STEFANIE POWERS IS STILL A REBEL AT 82!

The Hollywood siren who stole our hearts with her sassy charm and ravishing red locks is still turning heads at 82! Stefanie Powers, the beloved star of the iconic TV series Hart to Hart, was spotted running errands in Los Angeles this week, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.

Rocking a sporty ensemble that's far cry from her glamorous red carpet days, Powers proved that age is just a number. Her signature fiery mane still shines bright, instantly conjuring up memories of her iconic guest roles on The Rockford Files, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Bionic Woman.

The actress, now 82, is best remembered for starring opposite Robert Wagner in the hit TV classic Hart to Hart ¿ and she looked radiant as ever while running errands in a sporty ensemble

But what's the real scoop behind this Hollywood legend? Born and raised in Los Angeles, Powers was practically born with a script in hand. She slipped into the studio system as a teenager and quickly made a name for herself with supporting roles in films like Experiment in Terror (1962) and If a Man Answers (1962). Who would have thought that her first big break would come just two years later when she landed the lead role of April Dancer in The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.?

The '60s were just the beginning for this rising star. Powers continued to shine in films like Disney's The Boatniks (1970), Herbie Rides Again (1974), and the western sequel The Magnificent Seven Ride! (1972). But it was 1979 that changed everything when she teamed up with Robert Wagner for Hart to Hart.

The ABC mystery series, created by Sidney Sheldon, followed the jet-set lifestyle of glamorous couple Jonathan and Jennifer Hart – who just so happened to moonlight as amateur detectives. The show ran for five seasons until 1984 and later spawned eight TV movies throughout the '90s, cementing Powers' status as a beloved TV duo.

Rocking a simple black T-shirt and vibrant patterned leggings, the star cut a casual yet youthful figure, a far cry from her glittering red carpet days when she lit up the screen in the 1979 caper Escape to Athena alongside Roger Moore , Telly Savalas, David Niven, Sonny Bono and Elliott Gould

But it's not just her on-screen exploits that make Stefanie Powers the ultimate Hollywood siren. Her personal life is the stuff of tabloid dreams! She dated Oscar-winning actor William Holden from 1972 until his tragic death in 1981 – a romance that lasted nine years and left fans swooning over their 25-year age gap.

"We were soulmates," Powers once confessed to Closer. "In six of the nine years that we were together, he was sober... It was a very meaningful time for both of us." But Holden's struggles with alcohol cast a shadow over their romance – and ultimately led to his untimely demise on November 12, 1981.

Determined to honor her late love, Powers established the William Holden Wildlife Foundation the following year. "The organization is known as The William Holden," she said. "That makes me laugh, and it certainly would have made him laugh, too, because he had a great sense of humor."

Her signature fiery red hair remains unmistakable, instantly calling back her many beloved guest roles on The Rockford Files, The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman

Powers' romantic exploits don't stop there! She was also married to actor Gary Lockwood from 1966 to 1972 – a union that ended in divorce before she wed French aristocrat Patrick Houitte de La Chesnais in 1993. Their marriage lasted six years until they parted ways.

So, what's the secret to Powers' enduring charm? "I'm still very curious about life," she revealed. And with her latest outing proving that age is just a number, it seems Stefanie Powers is ready for whatever comes next!
