TENNIS HEARTBREAKER: Anna Kalinskaya Opens Up About Tour Romances and the Player Who Wouldn't Take No for an Answer

The world of professional tennis is no stranger to high-stakes matches, grueling training sessions, and drama-filled personal lives. But none have captured our attention quite like the tangled web of relationships between tennis stars, their agents, and the beautiful Anna Kalinskaya.

At just 26, this stunning Russian beauty has already made headlines with her high-profile romances, including those with ATP world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and fiery Australian Nick Kyrgios. Her latest revelations have left fans both fascinated and appalled, as she spills the beans on a top-20 star who simply wouldn't take no for an answer.

Anna Kalinskaya, known for her effortless charm and captivating smile, has become the ultimate tennis insider, dishing out juicy gossip like it's going out of style. In an exclusive interview with our sister publication, The Scholarly Note, Anna opens up about her personal life, sharing candid insights into the pressures of dating another high-profile athlete.

The Unwelcome Advances

According to Kalinskaya, several ATP players have made overtures in their direct messages, but one player's persistence has raised eyebrows across the tennis community. Holger Rune, world No. 11, has been accused of sending as many as ten messages before being rejected by Anna. But that's not all – he allegedly didn't take no for an answer.

One of the players Kalinskaya outed is world No 11 Holger Rune, who she claimed sent her 'ten' messages in an attempt to spark up a romance

"I'll say who it is now, Holger Rune," Kalinskaya revealed on The Scholarly Note podcast. "He writes to everyone. He thinks too much of himself. Maybe he's just desperate, but he's not the only one [to have messaged me]."

Rune responded to the accusations, insisting cultural differences led him astray and that his comments were misinterpreted. "Ha ha ha," he wrote on X. "We might have cultural differences that make Anna read a comment on a story as an invitation to a date. If I want to go for a date, I ask for a date. Don't worry."

But Kalinskaya remains unimpressed by Rune's excuses. "He thinks too much of himself," she reiterates.

Love on the Court: A Healthy Relationship or a Recipe for Disaster?

In an era where athletes are increasingly expected to maintain a squeaky-clean image, Kalinskaya boldly asserts that love can actually boost a player's performance – if both partners are mature and understanding. "No, I think it lifts you up if it is a healthy relationship and emotionally both people are mature and understand what is good for their partner," she explained.

But when two high-profile athletes date, the pressure to maintain a perfect public image can be overwhelming. Kalinskaya acknowledges that navigating relationships while being in the spotlight can be challenging. "As much as possible. I tried and my partner also tried. But it's hard to avoid when two people are famous and there are difficulties because of that too."

Agents and Personal Life: Separate Worlds

Kalinskaya has consistently maintained that agents play no role in her personal life, dismissing suggestions that they might influence her relationships. "Agents do not have nothing to do with relationships," she declared firmly. "Work is work, personal life is personal life. Off court it's different, no one decides for us."

This stance may be music to the ears of fans who crave authenticity and honesty from their favorite athletes. After all, in an era where social media scrutiny can be merciless, Kalinskaya's willingness to speak her mind has earned her a loyal following.

She is now thought to be back with her ex boyfriend Tomas Ferrari, who she dated in 2021

A New Chapter: Love in the Time of Tennis

Despite the drama surrounding Holger Rune, Anna seems to have moved on – at least, that's what she suggests. When asked about her current partner, Kalinskaya coyly revealed that he is not an athlete and works in finance. "I don't think I could be with a person who has zero interest in my profession," she shared. "But he loves sports."

The mysterious businessman, Tomas Ferrari, has been spotted courtside at several tournaments this season, fueling speculation about the nature of their relationship.

As Kalinskaya's star continues to shine both on and off court, we can't help but wonder what the future holds for this tennis beauty. Will she continue to captivate us with her candid insights into the world of professional sports? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – Anna Kalinskaya has become a must-watch in the tennis community.
