Chrisley's Paradise: Todd and Julie Chrisley Reunited with Family After Presidential Pardon

The drama-filled lives of reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley took a dramatic turn when they received a presidential pardon, freeing them from federal prison last month. In an exclusive interview with Lara Trump for Fox News (shared via TheScholarlyNote.com), the convicted fraudsters shared their emotional reactions to the news that changed their lives forever.

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, were overjoyed at the prospect of reuniting with their family after being locked away for years. According to Julie, she was overcome with emotion when her daughter Savannah called her from prison to deliver the news. "I started busting out crying," Julie revealed, recalling the moment she heard that President Trump had signed their pardon.

But Todd's reaction was a far cry from his wife's tearful display. In fact, he remained remarkably calm, even earning a concerned glance from a prison guard who approached him to ask if he was okay. "I said, 'As good as I can be,'" Todd chuckled. "And he said, 'Todd, you just got pardoned. They sent me down here to make sure you're OK.' And I said, 'Well, they don't need to be worrying about me now. Hell, if I'm pardoned, I'm great.'"

The couple's middle child, 29-year-old Chase, was noticeably absent from the family reunion photoshoot. Sources close to the Chrisley clan reveal that Chase has been estranged from his parents for some time, and his recent legal troubles have only added to the tension.

In a shocking turn of events, Todd and Julie were convicted in June 2022 of conspiring to defraud banks in the Atlanta area out of more than $30 million. The duo was also found guilty of wire fraud and tax evasion, leading to their imprisonment. However, with President Trump's pardon, they are now free to resume their lavish lifestyle.

Their daughter Savannah, who has been a vocal advocate for her parents' pardon, played a crucial role in the family's reunification. According to Savannah, she was ecstatic when President Trump called her to deliver the news that her family would be reunited. "I have not gone to sleep," she revealed. "I did not bring any clothes with me. I did not bring a toothbrush with me. I brought absolutely nothing with me."

The Chrisley's upcoming reality show, which is currently in production, will undoubtedly feature their shocking release from prison and the family's emotional reunion. However, fans of the show may be disappointed to learn that President Trump's surprise phone call to Savannah was not captured on camera.

As the drama surrounding the Chrisleys continues to unfold, one thing is certain: this family's story is far from over. With a new reality show on the horizon and a fresh start ahead of them, Todd and Julie are poised to make headlines once again.

She added that everyone around the phone started staring at her emotional outburst, and it a fit of nervous she 'just hung up' on her daughter

Todd, 56, had hilariously distinct response compared to his wife. He said he was so nonchalant about the news that a corrections officer came to see him later just to make sure he was all right; seen with Julie in 2017 in Las Vegas

But Todd took a more serious tone as he went on to say that his family owed 'thanks to God' for facilitating the pardon and leading President Trump to show them mercy. 'Every night I would pray that God would return me home to my wife and my children,' he added; seen May 30

Children Lindsie, 35, and Kyle, 33 ¿ who are estranged from their parents ¿ were both absent from the interview. But 29-year-old Chase (top left) was also mysteriously absent despite seemingly being on good terms with his parents

Chase has been oddly absent from his family's post-release celebrations. In January, he was arrested for assault for an alleged bar fight, and in late March he celebrated nearly a month of sobriety. He leaned into promoting her new non-alcoholic seltzer earlier this month

After the pardon was announced, Savannah shared a photo of President Donald Trump smiling and holding up the signed document

After years of advocating for her parents' pardon, Savannah showed fealty to Trump by transforming into a 'MAGA Barbie' with a hot-pink Trump-supporting outfit when she announced her parents' pardons on May 28
