In a jaw-dropping ceremony that's got everyone talking, Selena Gomez finally said "I do" to her long-time love Benny Blanco in an intimate Santa Barbara wedding that was a veritable who's who of A-listers.
But what really stole the show was the heartfelt speech delivered by none other than Taylor Swift - and we're still reeling from it! The pop superstar, who's gearing up for her own big day with fiancé Travis Kelce, proved once again why she's known as "The Queen of Romance" with a tear-jerking tribute to her beloved "sister" Selena.
According to insiders, Taylor took the stage at the picturesque Sea Crest Nursery and left the audience (including Selena herself!) in stitches with a speech that was both laugh-out-loud funny and deeply moving. Sources close to the couple reveal that Taylor spoke about how she and Selena have been through thick and thin together - professionally and personally - and how they've always had each other's backs.
But what really got everyone talking was when Taylor dished on Selena's love life, revealing that it was only after her beloved "sister" finally came to terms with being happy just as she is that she met the perfect guy in Benny. "Taylor said that whenever one of them had their hearts broken from a failed relationship over the years, they were always there for each other," an insider spills. "And when Selena finally realized that she was just fine on her own and concentrated on being herself, that's when Benny came into the picture."
But it gets even juicier! Taylor also joked about Selena beating her to the altar (ahem, no pun intended!), but praised Benny as "the most perfect person" for her bestie. And in a nod to their long-standing friendship, she added, "It isn't luck that they found each other - it's love."
As if all this wasn't enough, Ed Sheeran also took the stage and delivered a heartfelt speech of his own (we can only imagine what he had to say!). And let's not forget Selena's stunning hand-draped satin gown, which she wore with her "bestie" Taylor by her side - because who needs a maid of honor when you've got your BFF?
Other A-listers in attendance included Martin Short and Steve Martin (Selena's Only Murders in the Building co-stars), who joined Taylor for a rehearsal dinner at a swanky Hope Ranch mansion on Friday night. But we have to give it up for the bride, who looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle to... you guessed it! One of her own songs, performed by none other than her friend Sofia Carson.
Tanya Rad, radio host and one of Selena's closest pals (she was even a bridesmaid!), revealed on her iHeartRadio podcast that Taylor was an absolute dream to meet. "She was so kind," Tanya gushed. "She loved [Sofia's] performance of 'Invisible String' - she asked me what song it was, and when I told her, she said, 'That means so much.' She was magical, genuine, and just... present."
As for Selena and Benny's big day itself? Let's just say it was a fairytale come true. The happy couple exchanged vows in front of their 170 closest friends and family members - including Taylor, Ed Sheeran, and the bride's beaming parents - as they watched over them from the cliffside paradise that is Sea Crest Nursery.
