GET READY FOR THE JUICIEST TIDBIT OF THE YEAR!

Tammy Slaton, the 38-year-old star of TLC's hit show "1000-lb Sisters," has finally undergone the long-awaited skin removal surgery after shedding an astonishing 500 pounds! But that's not all - she's also revealed that she's in a new relationship with a woman, and hasn't even told her family yet!

In a shocking confession, Tammy spilled the beans about her secret romance during a recent interview with People. When asked if she had found love again after the passing of her husband, Caleb Wilingham, just seven months into their marriage, Tammy revealed that she's been seeing someone new - and it's not a man!

The star - who has lost a staggering 500 pounds during her weight loss journey - first shot to fame after appearing on 1000-lb Sisters alongside her sister, Amy, back in 2020

"I have been seeing someone for the past couple of months, and it's going pretty well," she gushed. "The person I'm dating is a woman. So I haven't told my family because my family's gonna have something to say about it."

But Tammy's not just sharing juicy gossip - she's also opening up about her journey towards self-acceptance and healing after Caleb's sudden death at age 40.

"I was sitting in the fetal position, crying," she recalled of the moment she found out about her husband's passing. "I got a text message from his friend up there and the text said, 'Caleb's not doing good. They're in there working on him.' 20 minutes later he texted me back and said he was gone."

Tammy, 38, has revealed she has been approved for the long-awaited surgery amid her incredible weight loss journey

Despite the tragedy, Tammy has been finding ways to cope with her grief - including wearing a ring and musical note-shaped necklace made from Caleb's ashes!

"He's going to live on now forever because his memory is encapsulated," she said. "Knowing that he's with me, it's helping me pass the day."

But back to the skin removal surgery! After six years of hard work and dedication to her weight loss journey, Tammy has finally gotten the green light for the procedure. And let's just say she was OVERWHELMED with excitement!

Tammy traveled to Pittsburgh for her skin removal with plastic surgeon Dr. J. Peter Rubin and the reality of the procedure hit her the night before as she admitted she was 'terrified'

"I was really nervous for the skin removal surgery because I was really just kind of afraid of how I'm gonna feel looking at myself without the belly there," she admitted.

The 8-hour procedure, which removed over 15 pounds of excess skin from her chin, arms, and lower stomach, left Tammy feeling like a new woman.

"It feels so weird not having the ball sack hanging off my face and my bat wings are gone too!" she exclaimed. "I look down and there is nothing there in my lap now."
