Stuntwoman vs. Hollywood Legend: Shocking Allegations Against Kevin Costner

A lawyer for Kevin Costner hit back against Devyn LaBella on Tuesday - prompting her to issue a new statement of her own

SHOCKING SCANDAL ROCKS HOLLYWOOD: STUNTWOMAN SUES KEVIN COSTNER FOR ALLEGED RAPE SCENE ON SET

In a jaw-dropping turn of events, Devyn LaBella, a talented stuntwoman, has taken legal action against none other than Hollywood A-lister Kevin Costner for allegedly forcing her to participate in an unscripted rape scene on the set of his big-budget Western series, Horizon. This is not your typical Tinseltown tale of woe, folks!

According to court documents and explosive new details revealed exclusively by The Scholarly Note.com, LaBella claims that she was subjected to a violent, unscheduled, and unscripted "rape scene" directed by none other than Costner himself. Yes, you read that right - the 70-year-old actor allegedly orchestrated this traumatic incident on set!

LaBella (above) first alleged in a lawsuit last month that she was 'the victim of a violent, unscripted, unscheduled rape scene directed by Kevin Costner' while serving as a double for actress Ella Hunt for Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2 in May 2023

LaBella, who was hired as a stunt double for actress Ella Hunt, alleges that she was forced to participate in the scene without warning, preparation, or consent. The stuntwoman claims that she was told to lie down, and another actor was brought in to simulate a rape on top of her. Her undergarments were allegedly exposed, leaving her feeling humiliated and traumatized.

In an amended complaint filed with The Scholarly Note.com, LaBella included text messages with the film's intimacy coordinator, Celeste Cheney, which appear to support her harrowing account. In one exchange, LaBella writes: "I wanted to discuss yesterday's abomination when we both have a chance." Cheney responds: "Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this Devyn. Let's talk through it."

LaBella's legal team is adamant that the evidence attached to her amended complaint shows that she had the courage to speak out about her assault immediately after it happened and continues to fight for justice today.

In a new statement, LaBella on Wednesday accused Costner of 'a reckless violation - a breach of consent and of basic workplace safety'

The lawsuit alleges that LaBella was hired under a SAG agreement, which prohibits any "last-minute requests for nudity or simulated sex" without 48 hours' notice. Furthermore, Hunt's contract required an intimacy coordinator to be present on set for all intimate scenes - something that allegedly didn't happen during the fateful scene in question.

Singer, Costner's attorney, has slammed LaBella's allegations as "fabricated" and insists there was no intimacy or sexual content involved in the scene. He claims that numerous witnesses have contradicted her claims, calling them "meritless." However, LaBella's legal team is not backing down, citing strong evidence to support their client's account.

This scandal has sent shockwaves through Hollywood, with many wondering how something so heinous could occur on a major film set. As The Scholarly Note.com continues to uncover the details of this disturbing incident, one thing is clear: Devyn LaBella's courage and determination have sparked a national conversation about consent, power, and accountability in the entertainment industry.

In an amended complaint filed on June 18, LaBella included screenshots of text messages with the film's intimacy coordinator along with detailed descriptions of the painful emotions she allegedly experienced after the scene was completed
