In completing the bottle cap challenge, singer Christopher Hicks and actor Denis Mikhlin have shown off their prowess.

However, radio host Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli was less successful in pulling off the stunt on Friday.

After seeing the Fitzy & Wippa actor try to knock bottle top off of a bottle with a swinging round-house karate kick, he posted a video on Instagram showing the take.

Wippa, 39, a blond man wearing blue top and black jeans, first takes on a serious karate role with his arms raised as he lines up the bottle of Perrier on a table at the Nova offices.

Wippa kicks the entire bottle, nearly destroying it - and the iPhone camera filming the incident - flying off the table.

And as he struggles to not collapse over, he kicks a gaping hole in the office wall behind him.

'Nothing to see!'Wippa, who is incredibly ill, is squawking over the damage he did not see.

The ardent radio actor did eventually succeed in tapping the bottle cap with his foot, bringing the entire thing to a halt.

'Yes!'Like a cricketer who has just bowled a wicket, Wippa screams while holding his hands aloft.

'First go!'Wippa jokes.

The parody joke was accompanied by Wippa: "You know, there are days where you just want to nail it." It turned out that today was my day. For #bottlecapchallenge, precision, timing, and physical fitness are all important. 'Whoputthatwalltherewithonetakesonetakingwippa.'

Both Christopher Hicks, 41, and Denis Mikhlin, 51, have successfully completed the bottle cap challenge, which requires a round house kick to the top of a bottle, with only the top spinning to the ground.
