The 29-year-old actress has revealed that she got her sex education from watching explicit scenes on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Yes, you read that right – Sansa Stark's own mom taught her everything she knows about intimacy!
In an interview with the Scholarly Note.com, Sophie shared that she first auditioned for the role at 12 and started filming at 14, making her a part of the show's eight-year journey. Reflecting on those wild times, Sophie quipped, "Yeah, really crazy s*. I got my sex education from that show. More than enough!"
But it wasn't all fun and games (pun intended). Sophie confessed that she never actually watched the show despite being a part of it – can you imagine?! When asked about her experience on Game of Thrones, Sophie humorously summed up the entire series: "Warring families fighting for the throne... there's dragons, um, and that's about it really."
However, what's more surprising is that Sophie finds watching herself on screen to be downright traumatic. She revealed that she has a two-month bout of depression after seeing herself act – yikes! So, no wonder she hasn't watched her iconic performance as Sansa Stark.
On a lighter note, Sophie dished about her family life with ex-husband Joe Jonas and their two adorable daughters, Willa (4) and Delphine (2). She confessed that she's still working on keeping the "no phone" rule at dinner time, just like her parents did when she was growing up. However, it's not as easy with tiny tots running around!
The actress also spilled that she has a secret stash of Milky Way bars reserved just for herself – hands off, kids! And speaking of Joe, Sophie and the Jonas Brother have seemingly put their differences aside, co-parenting their daughters with ease. In fact, Joe recently gushed about having an "incredible" mom in an interview with motivational speaker Jay Shetty.
Sophie's Secret Life:
As you might know, Sophie and Joe tied the knot in 2019 but parted ways four years later after filing for divorce. The drama-filled split saw the couple embroiled in a custody battle over their daughters – yikes! However, it seems they've put their differences aside and are now on better terms.
In March, rumors swirled that Sophie planned to move back to her home country of the UK with the girls, but it appears she's had a change of heart. The exes were recently spotted strolling in New York together – aww!
