Mental Health Matters: Sophie Visits Ukraine Mental Health Exchange Center

During her visit to the center, Sophie was seen engaging with others, creating artwork, and even enjoying tea amidst the tranquil surroundings of the Shibuya Himawari and Kokorogoto Cafe. The non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugees and evacuees in Japan, with over 1,500 individuals registered.

The royal's compassionate nature shone through as she took part in a calligraphy language workshop at the center. It was clear that Sophie was fully immersed in the experience, taking time to connect with those around her and create meaningful connections.

Later in the day, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visited the prestigious Nezu Museum in Minato City, Tokyo. The museum is home to an impressive collection of pre-modern Japanese and East Asian art, with a staggering 7,600 works on display, including seven Japanese National Treasures.

Sophie and Edward were warmly received by the head of the museum, Koichi Nezu, and his wife Mihoko. The royal couple took in an exhibit, toured the beautiful gardens, and engaged in meaningful conversations with the museum's staff.

A Sumo Spectacle: Sophie and Edward Watch a Thrilling Match at Ryogoku Kokugikan

The previous day saw Sophie and Edward attend a thrilling sumo tournament at the historic Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Arena. The jam-packed stadium was electric as thousands of fans cheered on their favorite wrestlers.

The royal couple was seated in a plush box behind the ringside stands, adding to the excitement. They even met and chatted with wrestler Asanoyama Hiroki before posing for photos with the wrestler and Chairman of the Sumo Association, Hakkaku Nobuyoshi.

During their visit to the sumo arena, Sophie wowed in a £4,550 Valentino midi shirt dress, which featured a stunning paisley swirl and polka dot pattern. The designer frock was paired with nude pointed pumps by Jimmy Choo and a custom navy snakeskin clutch by Beauchamps of London.

Her simple yet elegant accessories included floral earrings and a gold pendant necklace. It's clear that Sophie knows how to make a fashion statement, even in the midst of a busy schedule!

A Royal Gesture: Sophie and Edward Meet with Crown Prince and Princess Akishino

Before the sumo tournament, Sophie and Edward participated in a tree planting ceremony at the Akasaka State Guest House. They planted an oak sapling from an English oak tree planted by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 1975.

This symbolic gesture was a heartwarming display of the close relationship between the Royal Family and the Imperial Family, which stretches back hundreds of years.
