SHOCKING DEATH OF CAITLYN JENNER'S CLOSE FRIEND SOPHIA HUTCHINS

In a devastating turn of events, Sophia Hutchins, the close friend and manager of Caitlyn Jenner, has passed away at the young age of 29 in a tragic ATV accident in Malibu. The incident occurred on Wednesday when Hutchins' ATV collided with another moving vehicle, causing it to plummet 350 feet down into a ravine near Jenner's home.

The news has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and beyond, with fans and friends alike taking to social media to pay their respects to the late Sophia. But who was this vibrant and ambitious young woman, and what was her remarkable journey?

The pair first crossed paths a decade ago in 2015, and Sophia has often credited to the ex of Kris Jenner as an inspiration to complete her transition; seen in 2018 in L.A.

A TRANSITION OF SELF-DISCOVERY

Sophia Hutchins, born Scott Hutchins, had always identified as female at a young age. As she navigated her teenage years, she began to explore her gender identity in earnest, eventually coming out as trans to friends and family while attending Pepperdine University.

But it was Caitlyn Jenner's 20/20 interview in 2015 that truly inspired Sophia to embark on her own transition journey. "It made everything feel so much more real," she said in an interview with her school newspaper. "I realized that normal, successful people could be trans, and that people were okay when they did it."

Sophia was formerly Scott Hutchins and began her transition while attending college - but previously revealed that she had identified as female at a young age

Sophia's transition was not without its challenges, however. She faced opposition from some family members and struggled to balance her personal life with her studies. But with the support of her loved ones and her own determination, she persevered.

A FRIENDSHIP FOR THE AGES

Sophia first met Caitlyn in 2015, shortly after Jenner's highly publicized transition announcement. The two quickly became close friends, bonding over their shared experiences as trans individuals. Sophia eventually moved into Jenner's $3.5 million Malibu mansion and began working as her manager.

After her transition, Hutchins stated, 'I truly feel my spirit, my soul, my mind is exactly the same, I am just so much more comfortable physically'; seen in 2019 in NYC

Their friendship was not without its controversy, however. Some speculated that the two were romantically involved, a claim both Hutchins and Jenner have repeatedly denied. "We're partners in business, but we're also very close friends," Sophia explained in an interview with The New York Times.

Despite the rumors, it's clear that their friendship was built on a foundation of mutual respect and admiration. Caitlyn has praised Sophia as one of the most selfless people she's ever met, while Sophia has credited Jenner with being a source of inspiration and guidance throughout her transition journey.

A VOCAL SUPPORTER OF DONALD TRUMP

Sophia first met Caitlyn in 2015 and two years later, moved into Jenner's $3.5 million Malibu mansion and began working as the star's manager; seen in 2020 in Century City

But Sophia's personality was not limited to her friendship with Caitlyn. She was also an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump, often posing with a MAGA hat on social media. In fact, she shared photos from what appeared to be Trump's Mar-a-Lago in Florida on election night last year, captioning them "Election Night w/ 500 of my closest friends! A true love fest!"

Her support for the former President was not limited to just social media posts, however. Sophia also made appearances on Fox News as a "Trump 2024 Campaign Surrogate" and shared her own experiences with voting for Trump in last year's U.S. presidential election.

A LEGACY OF LOVE AND SUPPORT

During an interview with People in 2021, Sophia discussed being able to collaborate with Jenner and said, 'I feel blessed that we are able to work together'

Sophia Hutchins may have left this world far too soon, but her legacy of love, support, and self-discovery will live on through the countless lives she touched during her all-too-brief time on earth.

As Caitlyn Jenner herself said in a statement following Sophia's passing, "I am heartbroken to hear about the loss of my dear friend Sophia. She was an incredible young woman who brought so much joy and love into my life."

Rest in peace, Sophia Hutchins. Your memory will never be forgotten.

'I don't want controversy. I am just trying to live my life. Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' she said; seen in 2024 in Washington D.C.

Sophia has also publicly voiced her support for Donald Trump over the years - and has often posed with a MAGA hat on social media
