Simon Cowell's Lookalike Son, Eric, Stars Backstage at America’s Got Talent!

Simon Cowell has shared rare a picture of his lookalike son Eric, 11, as they filmed backstage for America's Got Talent ahead of the show's quarter finals

SCROLL DOWN TO GET THE TEA!

Simon Cowell's Secret Life with Son Eric Exposed!

The king of mean (yes, we're looking at you, Simon!) has given us a rare glimpse into his life as a doting dad to son Eric, 11. The mogul, who's been grumbling about contestants on America's Got Talent all these years, couldn't help but beam with pride when sharing adorable snaps of him and Eric backstage at the show.

The business mogul, 65, was also seen sat on a directors chair backstage while he spoke to a camera wearing his signature aviator sunglasses

Alongside fiancée Lauren Silverman (who also has another child from a previous relationship) and their pet chihuahua Daisy, Simon is every inch the devoted father. The couple welcomed Eric in 2014, and it's clear that little dude has grown into quite the mini-me of his dad.

In an exclusive album shared on Instagram, Simon can be seen sporting a black T-shirt while Eric rocks a bright blue AGT jersey (because, why not? It's America's Got Talent, after all!). We also get a peek at Simon sitting in a director's chair, chatting away to the camera like he's giving us an exclusive interview.

But what's caught our attention is Simon's candid conversation about his biggest fear as a father: Eric getting his hands on a mobile phone! Yep, you read that right. In a recent chat with Jeff Brazier on This Morning, Simon confessed, "I'm very worried... about how much kids can see at a certain age." Talk about a parenting conundrum!

Simon and Lauren welcomed Eric into the world in February 2014

Simon's concerns aren't unfounded; he grew up in an era where information was scarce and came slowly (yes, he even mentioned learning things at the right time!). As Eric grows older, Simon worries that having access to the internet will expose him to too much, too soon. Will his son be able to handle it?

Now, let's get back to the show! America's Got Talent has whittled down its contestants to three acts who made it through to September's semi-final: Bay Melnick Virgolino (the 10-year-old rock and blues guitarist), Leo High School Choir, and dance troupe Unreal. Meanwhile, Duo Stardust, Ben Hightower, Alain Simonov, Alex Zinger, Jonglissimo, Boston Dynamics, and EDT Dance Team said goodbye to the competition.

The road to stardom continues, with six acts left in the running. But what about Mama Duke? The singer won Mel B's Golden Buzzer earlier this year, securing her spot in the final. Will she go all the way?

As Simon navigates his life as a dad and a showbiz mogul, one thing's for sure: he's always keeping it real (and worrying about his son getting a phone!).
