Shannon Beador's New Trouble: DUI Probation and Phone Use on the Road

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Storms Beador was allegedly pulled over by the police on May 21 this year, amid her probation

Beverly Hills, CA - The drama never ends for Shannon Storms Beador, star of Bravo's hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Just when you thought she was getting her life back on track after a highly publicized DUI arrest and subsequent three-year probation, it seems the 61-year-old mom of three has landed in hot water again.

According to court records obtained by The Scholarly Note, Beador was pulled over by police on May 21 for allegedly driving while using her phone. Yes, you read that right - the same woman who just a few months ago was arrested for a DUI after crashing her car into a residential property and fleeing the scene, has now been cited for yet another driving-related offense.

The documents reveal that Beador received a citation for "driving while operating a handheld wireless telephone or electronic wireless communications device." But don't worry, she's not going to be locked up anytime soon - she was released on the spot and will have to pay a fine by July 11. The fine? A whopping $20 for the first offense, with subsequent fines of $50 each.

'I'm so sorry and humiliated that I disappointed you,' she said on the Real Housewives of Orange County after the crash: 'Like, what kind of example am I at 59 years old?'

This latest mishap is sure to raise eyebrows among Beador's fans and fellow Housewives, especially given her recent public apology to her daughters Sophie, Adeline, and Stella after her September DUI arrest. At the time, Beador tearfully apologized, saying she was "so sorry and humiliated that I disappointed you." But it seems like old habits die hard for this Bravo star.

As The Scholarly Note previously reported, Beador's 2023 DUI arrest came after a long night of partying, which left her with a fractured left wrist, among other injuries. She blew a whopping .24% BAC - three times the legal limit - and was charged with one misdemeanor.

Despite her probation, which expires in November 2026, it seems like Beador is still struggling to get her life together. In September, she took to social media to share her gratitude that no one else was injured in the accident, saying, "I have learned so much from my terrible mistake that night and realize that driving any distance while impaired is too far."

But will this latest run-in with the law finally be the wake-up call Shannon needs to get her act together? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we'll be keeping a close eye on this drama-filled diva's antics.
