Serbian Royal Wedding: Prince Alexander Ties the Knot with Glamorous Dentist Dr. Vesna Jelić

ROYAL ROMANCE EXPOSED: Prince Alexander of Serbia Ties the Knot with Glamorous Dentist Dr. Vesna Jelic

In a lavish ceremony that has left royal watchers swooning, Prince Alexander of Serbia, 43, has finally settled down with his stunning dentist fiancée, Dr. Vesna Jelic, in a union that promises to be one for the ages.

The dashing prince, who is the grandson of Serbia's last king and a cousin of King Charles III, exchanged vows with his new bride in two ceremonies: one civil ceremony at the Royal Palace in Belgrade on September 6, marking the 102nd anniversary of Prince Alexander's grandfather King Peter II's birth, and a church service in Villamanrique de la Condesa near Seville on Saturday, September 20.

The couple's nuptials were attended by the cream of Serbian royalty, including Crown Prince Alexander, who proudly welcomed Dr. Vesna to his family as Her Royal Highness Princess Dr. Vesna of Serbia. The bride wore a stunning long white embroidered dress with a high collar and short sleeves for the religious ceremony in Serbia, which was adorned with an heirloom set of diamond earrings previously worn by her husband's half-sister at her own royal wedding in 2023.

But it wasn't just Dr. Vesna who stole the show; Prince Alexander himself is quite the catch! Born to Crown Prince Alexander and his first wife Princess Maria da Gloria, he grew up in London and Canterbury, attending The King's School Canterbury before completing a BA in Communications and Media from the University of San Francisco in 2004.

Before briefly moving to Hawaii, where he studied for an MFA in Advertising, Prince Alexander was quite the charming bachelor. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he met Dr. Vesna, who won over his heart with her stunning looks and medical expertise.

The couple's romance has been the subject of much speculation, but sources close to the royal family have revealed that they are deeply in love and committed to each other. "They're absolutely besotted," says a friend of the couple. "They've known each other for years, but it wasn't until recently that they realized their feelings for each other went beyond friendship."

Prince Alexander's father, Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia, was famously born in Claridge's hotel in London during his family's exile in WWII and counted the late Queen Elizabeth II among his godparents. However, despite his royal upbringing, Prince Alexander has led a relatively private life until now.

That is, until he publicly revealed that he had defeated prostate cancer just last year after being encouraged to speak out by King Charles' "openness" about his own cancer diagnosis. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Crown Prince Alexander wrote: "The Royal Family of Serbia announces with great pleasure that my youngest son, HRH Prince Aleksandar, and his fiancée Dr. Vesna (born Jelic) got married and began their life journey together."

The ceremony was attended by all the family members, including Prince Alexander's half-sisters from his mother's second marriage, Doña Sol María de la Blanca de Medina y Orléans-Braganza, Countess of Ampurias, and Doña Ana Luna de Medina y Orleans-Braganza, Countess of Ricla. And it seems that the entire royal family is overjoyed by the union. "They're absolutely thrilled," says a source close to the royal family. "Dr. Vesna has brought so much happiness into Prince Alexander's life, and they can't wait to see what the future holds for them."

As for Dr. Vesna, it seems that she has won over not just Prince Alexander but also his entire family with her charm and wit. According to sources close to the royal family, the new princess is a natural-born royal and is already settling in well to her new role.

However, as the world's eyes are on the newlyweds, there's one question that everyone wants to know: what's next for Prince Alexander and Dr. Vesna? Will they settle down in Serbia or travel the world together?

One thing's for sure – with their combined royal charm, charisma, and medical expertise, this power couple is set to conquer the world!
