It's been a whirlwind few months for reality TV star Savannah Chrisley, who has been adjusting to life under one roof with her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, after their release from prison in May. The 27-year-old beauty has been living with them since then, and let's just say it's been an interesting ride.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, the outspoken star dished on the challenges of re-adjusting to life with her parents after being on her own for over a decade. "It's a challenge, especially when we're all under one roof," she confessed to her listeners. "I mean, I love it, but it's also been...a lot."

'It's a challenge, especially to all of us being under one roof,' the reality star, often known as MAGA Barbie said on her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley on Tuesday

Imagine going from living your best life as an independent adult to suddenly sharing a roof with Mom and Dad again. It's a recipe for drama, and Savannah's got the tea. "I'm 27, almost 28 years old," she pointed out. "I like to have a glass of wine or a cocktail every now and then. But Todd Chrisley doesn't agree with that."

The real estate agent explained that her parents still view her as their little girl, rather than an adult who can take care of herself. "It's just interesting because now I'm a full-fledged adult," she said. "I've been paying my own bills, supporting myself, and guiding my own life for years. So we've had a bit of a rub."

The tension between Savannah and her parents is palpable, but it's clear that they're all still working through their issues. After all, Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted on multiple counts of tax evasion, bank fraud, and conspiracy in 2022, and sentenced to 12 years and seven years in prison respectively.

Savannah revealed that her dad had thrown away her hard seltzers.  I like to go have me a glass of wine or a cocktail, she said, ''Todd Chrisley does not agree with that'

But what really got our attention was Savannah's revelation that she would be moving out of the house on August 1, while her parents would be staying put. "It's been the best time ever because we get to sit and talk at whatever time we want," she said. "We're joking around, laughing, making up for lost time. So for that, I am extremely grateful."

So what's behind this sudden change of heart? Insiders claim that Savannah used her celebrity status to campaign for Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign in an attempt to gain favor with him and secure her parents' pardon.

And it looks like their strategy worked! In May, President Trump granted them a full pardon, clearing their names and freeing them from prison. The family is now set to share their side of the story in a three-part special, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which will air on Lifetime starting September 1.
