Savannah Chrisley Eyes Political Future After Pardon Drama
EXCLUSIVE: Savannah Chrisley Spills Tea on Potential Politics Career, Secret White House Meetings and Prison Reform Advocacy!
In a shocking turn of events, Savannah Chrisley has revealed that politics may be in her future - but only after she's rebuilt her life and figured out who she truly is! The 28-year-old reality star and self-proclaimed MAGA Barbie has been dropping hints about her potential run for public office, and we've got the tea!
According to sources close to Savannah, the influencer had a secret meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump's team to discuss potentially taking over a House seat in Tennessee. But in an exclusive interview with People while promoting The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, Savannah revealed that she quickly realized it wasn't the right time for her to dive into politics.
"I had a meeting at the White House about potentially taking over a House seat in Tennessee, and I just knew that right now wasn't the time," Savannah confessed. "I didn't feel in my heart and soul that I could make the impact that I truly wanted to make because I just got my life back."
But don't think for a second that this is the end of Savannah's politics aspirations! The Nashville-based realtor, who spoke at the 2024 National Republican Convention, made it clear that she has big plans for her future. "I feel like you can implement just as much change on the outside with a very large platform and voice than you can on the inside, so, who knows?" she slyly hinted.
Savannah's parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were recently sentenced to prison after being convicted of bank and tax fraud involving $30 million in fraudulent loans. But Savannah has used their experience as an opportunity to lobby for prison reform, advocating for better treatment and rehabilitation programs within the system.
"I see all the broken things in the system where individuals have to be rehabilitated, where we need mental health treatment for these individuals, as well as giving them job opportunities and advocating for them when it comes to that," she passionately stated on ABC News Studios' IMPACT x Nightline special The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup.
But what really got our attention was Savannah's revelation about her secret White House meeting. Sources close to the family have confirmed that while lobbying for her parents' pardon, Savannah and President Trump's team did discuss a potential future in politics - but only if she could make a significant impact on his MAGA agenda!
When asked about the possibility of running for office, Savannah coyly replied, "Marsha Blackburn is going to run for governor [of Tennessee] and she will win. So, who knows what happens to that Senate seat? I just say, like this whole pardon process, everything happens for a reason. Every relationship you make, every hand you shake."
It seems like Savannah's got her sights set on politics - but not just yet! For now, the family is focusing on their new Lifetime special, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which premieres on September 1 and 2. But mark our words, this isn't the last we've seen of Savannah in the world of politics!
As one insider revealed to thescholarlynote.com, "Savannah's been playing the game carefully, getting her foot in the door with the right connections. She knows how to work a room and charm people into doing what she wants - it's only a matter of time before she makes her move!"
