Ryan Reynolds' Hilarious Spoof: Neil Patrick Harris Steals the Show?

Ryan Reynolds shocked when he leaned in for kiss with Blake Lively's sister¿ but all is not what it seems

Ryan Reynolds Caught Red-Handed in Blunderous Spoof!

In a shocking turn of events, Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds was caught off guard when he attempted to lean in for a kiss with none other than Blake Lively's half-sister, Robyn Lively, 53. But what seemed like an innocent moment was actually a cleverly crafted spoof by the actor himself.

The 48-year-old Deadpool star took to social media to poke fun at Neil Patrick Harris' casting as the voice of the anti-hero in Marvel's new VR game. Reynolds recreated the iconic sitcom Doogie Howser, M.D., where Robyn made her debut as Nurse Michele Farber back in the day.

The actor, 48, spoofed American medical sitcom Doogie Howser, M.D. in a response to the show's star Neil Patrick Harris voicing Deadpool for Marvel's new VR game

In a hilarious video response, Reynolds donned the character of the young medical prodigy Doogie, taking jabs at Harris' casting choice. As he typed up a letter on his computer, he quipped, "Today, I learned a lesson about buttholes they don't teach you in medical school."

Reynolds' sarcastic commentary continued: "People who steal your signature role are the biggest buttholes of all. No, I don't blame Meta Quest." He playfully mocked Harris' angelic voice, saying, "I still know when you're getting totally screwed," even though he hadn't yet reached puberty.

Just as things were about to get awkward, Robyn walked into shot, and Reynolds exclaimed, "My girlfriend! What are you doing here? If my dad sees you here, he's gonna freak." He then tried to save face by claiming he was still a 14-year-old medical prodigy going through puberty.

Ryan, who has played the anti-hero since 2009, reacted to the news with a hilarious video, parodying Neil's character and mocking the casting choice

However, his attempt at innocence quickly turned into a witty remark: "Robyn, you're being paid." Reynolds' quick thinking almost saved the moment from embarrassment, but it was too late. With a sheepish grin, he leaned in for a kiss with Robyn, only to stop himself mid-air and exclaim, "I don't think we should do that because you're my sister-in-law!"

As it turns out, this whole ordeal was just a clever ruse by Reynolds to poke fun at the situation. We're guessing he's got some serious comedic chops up his sleeve!

But amidst all the drama and humor, there's another story brewing in the Reynolds camp. His upcoming movie, Animal Friends – an R-rated live-action/animation hybrid starring Reynolds alongside Aubrey Plaza, Jason Momoa, Addison Rae, Eric André, Dan Levy, and Rob Delaney – has been delayed by a whopping seven months.

Blake's half sister Robyn, 53, played Nurse Michele Farber in Doogie Howser, M.D., and made a cameo for the spoof

Initially set to hit theaters on October 10, 2025, the Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Entertainment production will now debut on May 1, 2026. This change in scheduling might just create an opening for another big-name film, Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday, which has been pushed back from its original release date of May 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026.

Reynolds' camp hasn't commented on the reason behind this delay, but we can't help but wonder if there's more to it than meets the eye. After all, his wife Blake Lively is currently embroiled in a high-profile legal drama with Justin Baldoni – could this have anything to do with the film's postponement?
