After all, it's not like they're trying to avoid the paparazzi or anything...

But let's get real, who wouldn't want to escape the hustle and bustle of royal life on the Greek island paradise that is Kefalonia? The Waleses brought their three little ones along for the ride, George, Charlotte, and Louis, but rumor has it they also had some extra family members in tow - Michael and Carole Middleton. As we know, Kate's style game is always on point, so we're guessing she was rocking her usual effortless chic while exploring the island with William. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to spend their summer sipping €7 (£6) cans of Jack Daniel's and Coke? Sorry, not sorry, Kate!

But what really caught our attention is that the royal family seemed to have chosen Kefalonia for a reason - perhaps it's because this gorgeous Greek island has become their own personal playground. We experienced it firsthand when our one-man car hire company offered us a discount and refused our tip.

But what really stole our hearts was the way the locals shared their secrets with us - from hidden beaches to the best taverna spots, they were eager to share the real Kefalonia with us. And let's not forget about the delicious food - who needs fancy restaurants when you can try authentic Greek cuisine at a local taverna?

Of course, we're dying to know which beaches the royal family visited during their stay on Kefalonia. Rumor has it that Melissani Cave was one of their favorite spots - and for good reason! It's no wonder they closed the cave for their visit (just kidding, we know they probably just wanted some peace and quiet).

And then there are the beaches - oh, the glorious beaches of Kefalonia! From the famous Myrtos Beach to the lesser-known Paralia Petani, every corner of this island seems to have its own secret slice of paradise. We can imagine William and Kate relaxing on the shore, watching their kids play in the waves.
