Royal Oops: Meghan Markle's Instagram Slip-Up with a Digital Mouse

Meghan Markle shared a new post on her lifestyle brand As Ever's Instagram account, featuring a sweet handwritten note for fans

ROYAL ROOKIE MISTAKE: Meghan Markle's Handwritten Note to Fans Features a Surprising Digital Guest

In a sweet but slightly surprising move, Meghan Markle has taken to her As Ever lifestyle brand to thank her fans for being "the sweetest" – and we can't help but wonder if she meant to invite an unexpected digital guest along for the ride.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a handwritten note on the official As Ever Instagram page, featuring intricate calligraphy that reads: 'You're beautiful. Full stop.' The note was placed on a marble kitchen countertop, surrounded by baking utensils and fresh thyme – but eagle-eyed fans may have noticed something rather... unusual lurking in the background.

The Duchess of Sussex shared the handwritten note after announcing three new products under her brand, all of which sold out within minutes

That's right, folks! A rogue black mouse cursor can be seen hovering above Meghan's hand, suggesting that the image appears to be a screengrab. Talk about an unexpected cameo!

This isn't the first time a member of the royal family has gotten caught out with a digital blunder – remember Kate Middleton's infamous Photoshop saga last year? The Princess of Wales had released a manipulated photo of her and the Prince of Wales's three children, only to have it withdrawn by international picture agencies after just hours. Ouch!

But back to Meghan's sweet note – it seems our beloved Duchess is still getting the hang of this whole social media thing. After all, she's only been sharing her As Ever brand with us for a hot minute (or should we say, "As Ever"?) since rebranding from American Riviera Orchard earlier this year.

But the post she shared on Instagram included a major oversight, as a rogue black mouse cursor can be seen on the edge of the photograph

Speaking of which, Meghan has just dropped not one, not two, but three new products under the As Ever umbrella – including a Napa Valley rosé wine, an apricot spread, and a limited-edition orange blossom honey. Yes, you read that right: our royal favorite is now a winemaker! The 2023 rosé wine, sourced from the famous Napa Valley region of California, promises to be a showstopper with its "soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality and a lasting finish."

But back to those As Ever products – it seems they're flying off the shelves faster than you can say "royal romance"! The new apricot spread has already sold out within minutes, along with the limited-edition honey. And if you thought those were hot commodities, just wait until you get your hands on that rosé wine come July 1st!

As Ever's debut collection may have been a slow burn, but it looks like this latest drop is about to ignite the flames of excitement among fans. And who knows? Maybe Meghan will even share some behind-the-scenes peeks at her As Ever kitchen – complete with those rogue digital cursors, of course!

The Duchess also released a new honey product, after she spoke of her enthusiasm for beekeeping in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan

An apricot jam was also part of the new products Meghan announced earlier this week, alongside a restock of six products from her first batch
