Rosie O'Donnell Clashes with Trump: Citizenship Under Fire

Rosie O'Donnell sent a pointed message after President Donald Trump threatened to revoke her American citizenship

Rosie O'Donnell Fires Back at Trump After He Threatens to Revoke Her Citizenship: "I'm Not Yours to Silence"

The drama-filled feud between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump has reached new heights, with the comedian taking a bold stance against the former President's latest attacks. In a fiery response to Trump's threat to revoke her American citizenship, O'Donnell declared, "I'm not yours to silence."

In a shocking move, Trump took to his Truth Social platform last week to announce that he was "seriously considering" revoking O'Donnell's citizenship. The comedian, who has been a vocal critic of the former President for years, didn't hesitate to fire back.

Dressed in a stunning "New York"-themed outfit at the London premiere of Burlesque musical on Tuesday, O'Donnell made it clear that she won't be intimidated by Trump's threats. Her ensemble featured a paint-splattered grey jacket with a repetitive "New York" pattern and a Big Apple design front and center, as well as black trousers with "New York" painted in neon across both legs.

A History of Feuding

O'Donnell and Trump have been at odds for years, with their feud dating back to 2006 when O'Donnell mocked Trump over his handling of a controversy concerning a winner of the Miss USA pageant. Since then, the two have traded barbs on multiple occasions.

The U.S. born star wore an outfit which fully embraced her New York roots

In a recent interview with HuffPost, O'Donnell discussed her decades-long feud with Trump and her decision to move to Ireland in 2024. "I knew what [the Trump administration] was planning to do, because I read Project 2025," she said. "I know what he's capable of. And I didn't want to put myself through another four years of him being in charge."

Trump's Latest Insult

The former President's latest jab at O'Donnell seemed to be in response to a TikTok video she posted this month mourning the 119 deaths in the July 4 floods in Texas and blaming Trump's widespread cuts to environmental and science agencies involved in forecasting major natural disasters.

The star, who was born in upstate New York, wore a very NY outfit complete with a Big Apple design

"What a horror story in Texas," O'Donnell said in the video. "And you know, when the president guts all the early warning systems and the weathering forecast abilities of the government, these are the results that we're gonna start to see on a daily basis."

O'Donnell's Scorched-Earth Response

In her response to Trump's threat to revoke her citizenship, O'Donnell went nuclear. "Hey Donald - you're rattled again? 18 years later and I still live rent-free in that collapsing brain of yours," she began. "You call me a threat to humanity - but I'm everything you fear: a loud woman a queer woman. a mother who tells the truth an American who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze."

O'Donnell, a longtime target of Trump's insults and jabs, moved to Ireland earlier this year with her 12-year-old son after the start of the president's second term

A Call for Empathy

O'Donnell's post concluded with a powerful message about the importance of empathy and compassion. "I stand in direct opposition all he represents ... ur a bad joke who cant form a coherent sentence," she wrote.

As the drama between O'Donnell and Trump continues to unfold, one thing is clear: these two are not going quietly into the night. Stay tuned for more updates on this juicy feud!
