Roan Stone: Proving His Own Mettle Beyond Hollywood

Roan Stone distanced himself from his mother's famous profile in a new interview as he insisted he isn't known for his connection to the actress

SHARON STONE'S SON ROAN STONE SPEAKS OUT: "I'M NOT JUST MY MOM'S KID"

In a shocking interview with Hello! magazine, Roan Stone, the 25-year-old son of Oscar-nominated actress Sharon Stone, has distanced himself from his famous mother's Hollywood career. Despite being adopted by Sharon and her ex-husband Phil Bronstein in 2000, Roan is determined to carve out his own path and prove that he's more than just a celebrity kid.

"I'm still Sharon Stone's son, but as life progresses, I've managed to carve out a career where I'm known for my business, not my connection to her," Roan explained in the exclusive interview. But what does this really mean? Is Roan trying to escape his mother's shadow or is he simply trying to make a name for himself in the cutthroat world of entertainment?

The son of Sharon Stone was adopted as a baby in 2000 by the star, 67, and her ex-husband Phil Bronstein. Following divorce she also adopted Laird and Quinn (pictured in 2021)

Roan has been working hard to establish himself as a successful entrepreneur, and it seems like his efforts are paying off. As the founder of Sweat N Shadow Management, a media company that offers A-list creative direction, high-end photography, and support with copyright protection, Roan is making waves in the industry. He's also the chief executive of Cahuenga Media Group, a production company dedicated to music, culture, and creativity.

But how does Sharon feel about her son's newfound success? In an interview with Seth Meyers on Wednesday, she gushed about her kids' recent red carpet appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Nobody 2. "I wouldn't have survived [without my values]," Sharon said, crediting her strong moral compass for raising three adopted children during the COVID-19 pandemic. She added that she's proud of Roan and his siblings, Laird and Quinn, who are all making a name for themselves in their respective fields.

But what about Roan's relationship with his mother? Despite being adopted by Sharon and Phil Bronstein, Roan has always maintained a close relationship with his mom. In fact, he credits her with teaching him everything she knows about acting. However, it seems like Roan is now taking on the role of teacher himself - he claims that he's even teaching his mom things about business!

Roan, 25, grew up determined to carve his own path despite his mother's Hollywood career, which he only credits for 'putting him in the right rooms

"I'm very proud of my family and my family's legacy and the name I carry," Roan said in the Hello! interview. "I'm carving out a path, with the help of others, in an industry where I have no name. It helps to know the right people - those golden gates, in a way, are already open."

But what about the pressure of being a celebrity kid? In the same interview, Roan revealed that he doesn't actually like attending red carpet events and would much rather focus on his business ventures. "I'm not really into the glamour side of things," he confessed.

Despite his reservations, Roan has been spotted accompanying his mom to high-profile events, including the Los Angeles premiere of Nobody 2. The film, which also stars Christopher Lloyd, Bob Odenkirk, and Colin Hanks, follows the story of a suburban dad who is pulled back into his violent past after thwarting a home invasion.

Sharon has been promoting her latest project on social media, sharing clips from the film and captioning them with enthusiastic messages. "On our way to NOBODY 2 Premier @nobodymovie," she wrote on Instagram Stories last week, setting the tone for what promises to be a blockbuster summer season.

As Roan Stone continues to make waves in the entertainment industry, it's clear that he's determined to prove himself as more than just his mom's kid. Will he succeed? Only time will tell - but one thing is certain: with Sharon Stone as his mother, Roan has already got a solid foundation for success.

Nobody 2 arrives in theatres across the US and UK on August 15.
