Rita Ora has admitted that she felt 'ugly' in her late twenties because she 'wasn't as thin as other people'

RITA ORA'S BOLD BODYPOLITICS: SINGER SPILLS ON HER TORMENTING BODY ISSUES AND WHY SHE'S NOW A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH!

In a jaw-dropping admission, pop sensation Rita Ora has bared her soul about the crippling body insecurities that once plagued her. The 34-year-old songstress revealed on Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast (in partnership with Dove's Self Esteem Project) that she felt "ugly" in her late twenties because she didn't measure up to the "thin" standards set by society.

"I think for me, the idea of looking a certain way in my late 20s is when it started to hit me," Rita confessed. "I wasn't taking care of myself, I was getting sick a lot, and I just didn't feel like my body was hot." The candid confession comes as part of her ongoing mission to promote body positivity and self-acceptance.

Rita's journey towards self-love began when she realized that her low self-esteem was holding her back. "I didn't accept the idea of okay, well, I'm not as thin as these other people – and so I'm ugly," she admitted. "And that's really sad to think back on because I know I wasn't."

But don't let Rita's past insecurities fool you – she's now a force to be reckoned with! When it comes to her current physique, Rita is rocking the confidence train like nobody's business. In fact, she's been serving up some serious style in NYC, where she recently headed for a work trip.

From flaunting Pucci's iconic £400 scarves and figure-hugging skirts to showcasing off-duty chic with grey mini skirts and statement shades, Rita has been turning heads left and right. And it seems like her confidence is contagious – after all, who wouldn't want to be inspired by this pop star's self-love journey?

Rita's commitment to body positivity hasn't gone unnoticed either. Her recent partnership with the Dove Self Esteem Project for #Why2k has seen her teaming up with fellow influencers and celebrities to help women build confidence in their own skin.

In a world where social media often perpetuates unrealistic beauty standards, Rita is shining a beacon of hope – reminding us that true beauty comes from within. So, what's next for this pop powerhouse? For starters, she's gearing up to cheer on her beloved Chelsea football team at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (yes, you read that right – she's their human lucky charm!).

In between press appearances and performances, Rita has also been paying tribute to her late friend Liam Payne. In an emotional conversation with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Rita opened up about their friendship and confessed that she still thinks about him from time to time.

'I think for me the idea of looking a certain way in my late 20s, that's when it started to hit me because my stamina was low, I wasn't looking after my body, I was getting sick a lot and I didn't feel like my body was hot,' Rita said (Seen in 2019)

As news of Liam's final project – a reality series called Building the Band – hits the airwaves, Rita has revealed whether or not she'll be tuning in. The answer? A resounding yes! With three more episodes dropping on July 16, fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment of this emotional journey.
