Since then, he's been keeping busy behind the scenes, occasionally popping up for voice work on animated projects.

However, fans of Moranis will remember that his return to acting was supposed to come in the form of a fourth installment in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids franchise. Titled Shrunk, the film was announced back in February 2020 and was set to star Josh Gad as Moranis' son Nick. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Disney+ moving away from long-form streaming content, the project was put on hold.
