Late actor Cameron Boyce was remembered by three of his Descendants co-stars on the sixth anniversary of his tragic passing.

DESCENDANTS ALUMNI PAY TRIBUTE TO CAMERON BOYCE ON ANNIVERSARY OF HIS SHOCKING DEATH

It's been six long years since the world lost a talented young star, Cameron Boyce, who left an indelible mark on our hearts with his unforgettable performance as Carlos in Disney Channel's hit franchise, Descendants. As the anniversary of his tragic passing approaches, three of his co-stars from the popular series have taken to social media to pay homage to their beloved colleague.

Sofia Carson, who played the lovable and quirky Evie in the Descendants films, shared a poignant black-and-white throwback photo featuring Boyce alongside fellow cast member Dove Cameron (Mal). The caption, "Our Angel. Forever," has already racked up an astonishing 1.1 million likes on her post, which boasts over 20.3 million followers.

Carson shared an undated black and white throwback snap of her, Boyce and fellow Descendants co-star Dove Cameron (Mal).

Her co-star Booboo Stewart, who portrayed the charming and mischievous Jay in the series, also shared Carson's post on his Instagram story for his 2.3 million followers to see.

Meanwhile, Sarah Jeffery, who brought Audrey to life in the Descendants movies, took a more personal approach by sharing a heartwarming throwback photo from 2014, which shows her and Boyce embracing on a ferry ride back to Victoria to shoot more of the series. The caption reads: "2014. On a BC ferry heading back to Victoria to shoot more of Descendants. Life is good. Miss you Cam ❤️".

The outpouring of love and admiration for Boyce has also extended to Kenny Ortega, the visionary director behind all of the Descendants films. In a heartfelt tribute posted on his Instagram page, Ortega reflected on the impact that Boyce had on his life and work.

Her co-star Stewart shared that same post on his Instagram story for his 2.3 million followers as well.

"Impossible to forget you Cameron," Ortega began. "You own a piece of my heart. The memories of our times working together are some of my greatest treasures."

He continued, "When you entered a room the light grew brighter because of your presence. Your laugh, imagination, talent, generosity, and loving heart were second to none."

To commemorate this solemn anniversary, Ortega has encouraged fans to make a donation to the Cameron Boyce Foundation in lieu of flowers or other tributes. The foundation is dedicated to promoting healthy habits and supporting children's charities, two causes that were very close to Boyce's heart.

Jeffrey also took to her Instagram story sharing a throwback pic from 2014 of her and Boyce, along with a poignant tribute.

A STAR TOO YOUNG TO GO

Cameron Boyce was just 20 years old when he tragically passed away on July 6, 2019, due to a fatal epileptic seizure. Although his epilepsy diagnosis was not publicly disclosed until after his death, it has been revealed that Boyce had been previously diagnosed with the condition.

As fans and loved ones continue to mourn the loss of this talented young actor, they can take comfort in knowing that his memory lives on through the countless hearts he touched during his all-too-brief time on this earth.

Kenny Ortega, who directed all of the Descendants films, also shared a throwback snap of Boyce and a touching tribute on Instagram.

Boyce was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home on July 6, 2019, and authorities pronounced him dead on the scene
