Former reality TV star Joe Giudice (pictured center) says he's done his time after being convicted and deported from the U.S. and is asking Donald Trump for a second chance so he can reunite with his daughters

SCANDAL IN THE WORKS: Reality TV Star Joe Giudice Makes Desperate Plea to Donald Trump for Second Chance

In a shocking move, former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice has taken to social media to plead his case directly to the President of the United States, Donald Trump. The 53-year-old reality TV personality is seeking a second chance at life in America after being deported from the country and serving time behind bars for multiple counts of bankruptcy fraud and tax evasion.

A TALE OF WOE

Giudice's former Real Housewives colleague Siggy Flicker (pictured left), who Trump (pictured center) appointed to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council earlier this year, commented that she's working on it

Giudice's fall from grace began in 2014 when he was hit with a 41-month prison sentence. Following his release, he was deported to his native Italy in 2019, where he has been waging a legal battle to return to the United States. In an emotional Instagram post on Thursday, Giudice poured out his heart, begging Trump for a chance to reunite with his four daughters - Gia, Milania, Audriana, and Gabriella.

"I'm Joe Giudice," he wrote. "I served my time, and I've been deported from the U.S. for nearly a decade. I was raised in Jersey, I'm a father of four amazing daughters, and I just want to be allowed to visit them again. President Trump, I respect you, and I'm asking for a second chance."

SIGGY FLICKER WEIGHS IN

The ex-Real Housewives of New Jersey star pleaded his case to the president in an Instagram post Thursday

Giudice's plea didn't go unnoticed by his former Real Housewives colleague Siggy Flicker, who has ties to the Trump administration. Flicker, who was appointed to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council earlier this year, commented on Giudice's post, expressing her support for his efforts.

"I'm trying," she wrote. "Joe should be back home with his beautiful daughters!!!!!!"

A TURBULENT PAST

Giudice's past is marred by scandal and controversy. His 2014 conviction and subsequent deportation led to the end of his marriage to ex-wife Teresa, who was also sentenced to 11 months behind bars. The Justice Department released a statement at the time, highlighting the risks of "cheating the government" by failing to pay taxes.

"The Giudices together deceived financial institutions with patently false loan applications; were dishonest when they sought the protection of the bankruptcy court and hid assets and income from the trustee," said U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman. "Giuseppe [Joe] Giudice cheated the government by failing to pay taxes on years of significant income. When they pleaded guilty, both admitted swearing to statements they knew were lies. Prison is the appropriate penalty for these serious financial crimes."

GIUDICE'S OUTRAGE

After being released, Giudice, seen here with ex Teresa in 2016, was deported back to his native Italy in 2019 and has been living in the Bahamas since 2021 - where he is waging a legal campaign to be allowed back into the US.

In a 2023 interview, Giudice expressed his outrage over his treatment at the hands of the U.S. government. He claimed that he was "dumped like a dog" in Italy and compared the country's handling of him to that of a dog.

"I got thrown into a country that I knew nothing about," he said. "All right, basically, just dumped there like, like, like, I don't know, like, I guess a dog, you know what I mean. Not even a dog gets dumped like that."

A FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

Giudice, 51, was hit with a 41-month jail sentence in 2014 after being convicted of multiple counts of fraud and one of tax dodging. His ex, Teresa, was convicted on the same charges and served 11 months in prison, but  was released and filed for divorced. She has since remarried

Giudice's desire to return to the United States is not just about reuniting with his daughters - it's also about seeking justice for what he perceives as an unfair treatment at the hands of the U.S. government.

"I mean, my charges don't even exist here," he said. "You know, tax things don't exist in The Bahamas. Tax things don't exist in Italy. You know what I mean, you just don't go to jail for that stuff. You know what I mean, you get a fine, you get whatever."

A CALL TO ACTION

As Giudice's plea to Trump gains attention, it remains to be seen whether the President will grant him a second chance. In the meantime, fans of the former reality TV star are left wondering if justice will finally prevail for Joe Giudice.
