RAYE ALMOST GETS CAUGHT WITH HER REGS DOWN ON LIVE TV!

British songstress Raye, 27, was left red-faced when she almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction on live TV while performing on the TODAY show in New York City on Friday. The stunning singer's gold mini dress proved to be a tad too tight as she leaned down to pick up her microphone from the stage.

Miraculously, Raye quickly rescued herself by placing her hand over her chest and tightening the straps of her dress before continuing to slay alongside music legend Mark Ronson. We're still wondering how she managed to keep her cool under pressure!

The British singer almost toppled out of her gold mini dress while leaning down to pick up her microphone from the stage

The Escapism singer looked absolutely sensational in her statement gold buttons mini dress, which showcased her toned legs and impressive make-up skills – but don't worry, we won't tell anyone she went barefoot for the performance! Talk about rockstar vibes!

But, let's get to the juicy stuff. In a candid interview with Capital Radio Breakfast Show, Raye spilled some tea about her upcoming second album, which has already broken records after selling out in advance. When asked about its completion status, the singer replied: "Can I be completely honest with you? The album is not even remotely done."

Raye laughed and joked that she was putting off finishing it, just like when she had homework at school – the eternal struggle of procrastination! But seriously, the songstress explained that she wants her music to be nothing short of perfection: "I want it to be incredible, and I want it to be the best thing it can be. And for me, it is deeper than putting a bunch of songs together and handing them out."

Raye quickly placed her hand over her chest to avoid the mishap before tightening the straps as she continued to perform alongside Mark Ronson

For those who don't know, Raye's debut album My 21st Century Blues tackled her personal experiences with sexual assault and addiction – she was just 17 when a music producer assaulted her. The singer has been open about her journey towards healing and recovery.

Now, let's talk relationships! In another revealing interview, Raye confessed that after being sexually assaulted as a teenager, she grew up wanting to find a "manly man" in a partner – but it's clear that's not on the agenda anymore. She admitted that dating has been tricky for her: "I have never experienced a more crippling emotion [than heartbreak]. It took me three, four years to get over him."

When asked about her last relationship, which lasted two years before ending in tears, Raye revealed that she had given herself permission to fall in love again only when it felt safe. The singer emphasized that what she looks for in a partner has changed significantly over the years – and we think we know why!

The Escapism looked sensational in the leggy look which also boasted statement gold buttons as she accented her features with make-up but forwent heels and opted instead to go barefoot

Speaking of partners, there were rumors of a summer romance between Raye and Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, but the singer was quick to squash those claims: "We're just great friends. We show up for each other, care about each other... that's it." Yeah, sure thing, Raye!

But what really caught our attention was when Lauren Keen, Raye's sister and former housemate, revealed some harsh truths to the singer during her struggles with addiction. Apparently, Raye was living in a haze of substance abuse as a teenager, but it wasn't until her sister gave her an ultimatum that she finally sought help.

The sisterly love and tough talk must have done the trick because Raye has since gone on to become one of the most talented artists out there – and we can't wait to hear more from this incredible singer!

It comes after Raye admitted that despite fans already being able to pre-order her second album the record is 'not even remotely done'
