Queen Rania's Regal Gown and Baby Princess Iman Steal the Show at Jeff Bezos’s Lavish Wedding

Queen Rania of Jordan stepped out in a regal Fendi frock that was seen on the fashion house's Autumn/Winter 2018 Couture Collection catwalk

Venice, Italy: The Royal Treatment

In a fairytale-like scenario, Queen Rania of Jordan stole the show at Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos's lavish wedding bash in Venice, Italy. As the queen, 54, arrived at the dock, she was resplendent in a stunning Fendi ballgown that left onlookers gasping in awe.

The regal ensemble, showcased on Fendi's Autumn/Winter 2018 Couture Collection catwalk, featured a shimmering sleeveless taupe dress with a mesh tulle layer embroidered with diamantes. The queen wrapped a cream-colored shawl around her shoulders, completing the look with blush pink pointed heels.

In a bid not to draw attention away from the extraordinary Fendi gown, she paired it with a plain ream clutch bag and accessorised with a simple silver jewellery bangle and hoops

But Rania wasn't the only royal in attendance. Her son, Crown Prince Hussein, 30, and his wife, Princess Rajwa, 31, joined the festivities alongside their adorable baby daughter, Princess Iman, who was barely over a year old. The family made a rare appearance at the wedding, which marked a special occasion for Rania, who has been friends with Bezos for almost a decade.

The unlikely duo first met in 2016 at the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, Jordan, and have since maintained a strong friendship. In fact, Rania was one of the first to know about Bezos's proposal to his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, with a whopping $3 million engagement ring.

As the clock struck midnight, the star-studded guest list – which included Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Orlando Bloom, and Bill Gates, among others – braved the torrential downpour that drenched the city. The impromptu storm turned the pre-wedding party into a real-life movie scene, with guests scrambling for cover under the vaulted cloisters.

Crown Prince Hussein was also in attendance alongside his wife Princess Rajwa and their baby daughter, Princess Iman, who is less than a year old.

But even the rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the happy couple. Lauren and Jeff were photographed at one of their many wedding events held at the Madonna dell Orto cloisters, surrounded by tuxedo-clad gentlemen carrying blue umbrellas over them. The bride-to-be, 55, looked stunning in her off-the-shoulder dress with a dramatic gold corset cinching in her already tiny waist.

As the guests made their way to the water taxis, they were treated to a spectacular sight: Bezos and his bride-to-be laughing and chatting inside the boat, seemingly unfazed by the rain-soaked chaos outside. It was clear that these two had learned to roll with the punches – or in this case, the thunderstorms.

TheScholarlyNote.com has learned that the Amazon billionaire is said to be spending a whopping $15-20 million on his and Lauren's Italian nuptials. And in a bold move, the couple has asked guests not to bring any gifts but instead make donations to multiple charities working to stop Venice from sinking – a nod to their philanthropic efforts.

Rania - who is married to King Abdullah - wrapped a cream coloured shawl around it which covered her shoulders as she paired her ensemble with blush pink pointed heels.

As the big day draws to a close on Saturday, one thing is certain: Jeff and Lauren's wedding will be remembered for years to come as a truly unforgettable affair. And Queen Rania's show-stopping appearance? Just the icing on the cake.
