Her Majesty later became President of the charity in 2007 and Patron in May 2021.

In a separate engagement, Queen Camilla attended the York Racecourse event on Thursday and Saturday (August 20-23). During her visit, she was met by Chris Legard, Vice Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Bridget Guerin, Chairman of the York Race Committee, and William Derby, Chief Executive of York Racecourse.

But it's not all sunshine and smiles for the royal family. Sources close to the King's Norfolk estate at Sandringham have revealed a wasp infestation that has been causing quite a stir. Camilla was overheard chatting with fellow attendees about the issue, describing it as "terrible nuisance." Signs have been put up warning visitors of the high wasp activity, and pest control experts have been called in to deal with the problem.
