PLAYBOY TURNS UP THE HEAT: MEN'S LIFESTYLE BRAND ABANDONS LOS ANGELES FOR MIAMI BEACH IN SHOCKING RELOCATION

In a move that's got everyone talking, Playboy Enterprises is packing up its bags and leaving the City of Angels behind. The iconic men's lifestyle brand has officially announced that it's trading in its LA roots for sun-kissed Miami Beach, where it will set up shop in a sleek new high-rise complex.

At the helm of this seismic shift is CEO Ben Kohn, who's been vocal about his disdain for California's "anti-business" approach. "We're thrilled to be joining the vibrant community of Miami Beach," Kohn gushed to Fox News Digital. "The city's pro-business stance and unparalleled energy make it the perfect fit for Playboy's next chapter."

Once synonymous with the late Hugh Hefner's iconic mansion, the men's magazine company announced the shocking relocation Wednesday, citing Florida 's more business-friendly climate. Pictured: Playboy bunny Sheila Levell, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, and Playboy bunny Holly Madison

But what really got our attention was Kohn's thinly veiled jab at California's high taxes. "When you compare the cost of doing business in California versus Florida, it's a no-brainer," he said. "We're leaving behind a state that's notoriously hostile to employers and embracing one that's truly supportive of business growth."

And speaking of growth, Playboy is planning to bring its signature blend of sex, style, and sophistication to the Magic City in a big way. The company will take over the penthouse of The RIVANI, a luxury office complex on Miami Beach that's been touted as "the ultimate status symbol" for high-flying entrepreneurs.

"We're not just moving our headquarters – we're creating an entire ecosystem around it," Kohn revealed. "We'll have new multimedia studios to support our rapidly expanding digital content and creator licensing business, as well as a reimagined Playboy Club that will feature a members-only space and a top-notch restaurant."

Playboy CEO Ben Kohn (pictured) said: 'When you look at the cost of doing business in California against the cost of doing business in Florida, and you combine that with the energy of Miami Beach, it made all the sense in the world for Playboy to move there'

But what about the employees who will be making the big move? While Playboy wouldn't disclose exact numbers, we're told that many of the company's LA-based staff will be joining their colleagues in Miami. And with a rumored $100 million investment from developer Robert Rivani, it's safe to say that the new HQ will be a lavish affair.

Rivani himself is thrilled about the arrival of his new tenants. "Miami Beach is one of the most iconic and fastest-growing cities in the world," he raved. "We're honored to have Playboy join our vibrant community and contribute to the city's already-thriving business ecosystem."

Of course, this move isn't just about Playboy – it's also part of a broader trend. As high-profile companies like Tesla, Chevron, and In-N-Out abandon California for friendlier climes, Miami Beach is emerging as a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity.

"The move is part of a larger migration of influential companies leaving L.A. and New York for South Florida," Rivani noted. "When people think of Miami Beach, they think of iconic brands, an unbeatable lifestyle, and endless possibilities – and Playboy's arrival amplifies all of that."

And let's not forget the nostalgia factor: Playboy first opened its second-ever club in Miami back in 1961, followed by a stint at the infamous Playboy Plaza Hotel on Miami Beach in the 1970s. It's safe to say that the brand is coming full circle – and with a vengeance.

So what's next for Playboy? With a new HQ, new studios, and a reimagined club on the horizon, this legendary lifestyle brand is poised to heat things up in Miami like never before. Stay tuned – it's going to be a wild ride!

The company also plans to open a reimagined Playboy Club at the site, featuring a restaurant and members-only space, along with building new multimedia studios to support its digital content.
