Paris Jackson's Emotional Walk: Remembering Michael on the Anniversary of His Death
PARIS JACKSON'S EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN SPARKS CONCERN AS SHE TAKES A WALK IN MALIBU
TheScholarlyNote.com has learned that Paris Jackson, daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, was spotted taking a solo stroll in Malibu on Wednesday, and things took an emotional turn.
According to eyewitnesses, the 27-year-old model and musician became visibly upset and burst into tears during her outing. This comes just weeks after the 16th anniversary of her father's untimely passing, which had sparked backlash from fans over her scheduled performance.
Paris, dressed in a brown short-sleeve shirt, grey biking shorts, and chunky sneakers with grey socks, accessorized with multiple bracelets and necklaces. Her platinum blonde hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail.
This isn't the first time Paris has seemed to be struggling lately. Just last month, she was spotted on a tense outing with her fiancé, 46-year-old Justin Long, in Malibu. The couple got engaged in December after two years of dating.
TheScholarlyNote.com previously reported that Paris fired back at fans who criticized her for having a performance on the day of Michael's death anniversary. She took to Instagram Stories to explain that she wasn't given a choice about the date and that she wouldn't step down over it. "So, I'm gonna tell 'em, 'Sorry, guys, we can't perform on this date?'" she joked facetiously. "F* you."
Paris also reposted a comment from a fan account that read: "Note to admins: It is unacceptable to judge someone else's pain and grief based on information from the internet." Paris simply responded with a heartfelt "thx fam."
The Morning View + The Hits tour, which features Paris and Manchester Orchestra as opening acts for Incubus, was in Nashville, Tennessee on June 25 - the 16th anniversary of Michael's death. Ahead of the anniversary, Paris was seen tearing up before her fiancé tried to comfort her with an embrace.
Paris' iconic father Michael passed away on June 25, 2009, at age 50, due to acute Propofol intoxication, which caused the singer to go into cardiac arrest. He had three children, including Paris, Prince, and Bigi, with his second wife Debbie Rowe.
As TheScholarlyNote.com previously reported, Paris and Justin met in 2022 and their relationship was professional before it became romantic. "Happy birthday my sweet blue," she wrote on Instagram announcing their engagement last December. "Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you."
Justin, a music producer, attended college in Indiana at Grace College & Seminary, where he graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration. He transitioned to music full-time in 2013 and has worked with artists including Grace Potter, The Wombats, and Sleater-Kinney.
TheScholarlyNote.com is keeping a close eye on Paris' well-being as she navigates the ups and downs of her career and personal life.
