Overcoming Shadows: Madison Prewett's Journey from Addiction to Faith

'I was about 13 years old. I went over to a friend's house and her parents weren't around and she turned on this show that was extremely inappropriate,' the 29-year-old new mother recalled on her Stay True Podcast on Monday

BAccelorette Star's Shocking Confession: "I Was Just 13 When I Got Hooked on Porn and Masturbation"

In a jaw-dropping revelation, Bachelor runner-up Madison Prewett Troutt has come clean about her darkest secrets - her addiction to porn and masturbation. The stunning 29-year-old mother of one shared her harrowing story on her Stay True Podcast, leaving listeners stunned.

According to Madi, it all started when she was just 13 years old and stumbled upon an X-rated show at a friend's house. "Everyone was naked, and it was like a twisted version of The Bachelor," she recalled. The explicit content sparked a curiosity that would lead her down a dangerous path.

The 29-year-old new mother's yearnings prompted her to search the Internet for X-rated content promising 'satisfaction and pleasure' and 'maybe it did for a moment but then as soon as the moment ended I felt so much shame'

As she delved deeper into the world of porn, Madi began to crave more, searching the internet for satisfaction and pleasure. But behind closed doors, shame and guilt took over. "I questioned my worth and identity every time I gave in to sexual sin," she admitted. "I didn't know my purpose."

The secrets kept, the addiction grew stronger, ensnaring Madi in a cycle of shame and secrecy. It wasn't until she brought others into her life and found Godly community that she began to break free from the shackles of porn and masturbation.

"It's been an incredible 10 years since I've been free," Madi beamed. "I'm just grateful for the power of God and the people around me who helped me overcome my struggles."

Fast forward to today, Madi is a new mother, married to pastor Grant Troutt, and enjoying a life free from her past addictions. But not everyone has been so fortunate in their Bachelor journeys. Remember Peter Weber's infamous split from Hannah Ann Sluss just days after the show finale? Yeah, that was only five years ago.

As Madi continues to share her story with the world, she's set to release a faith-based book, Dare to Be True: Defeat the Lies That Bind You and Live Out the Truth That Frees You, on September 23. The book promises to be an inspiring guide for those struggling with similar issues.

With over 4 million social media followers, Madi is now a prominent influencer, partnering with brands like Cupshe, Amazon, Gameday Couture, Sun Home Saunas, and Natural Cycles.
